I like the storage layout on my Caracal SP much better. 3 rod lockers if you need them. I use starboard side for life jackets ect. Port side rod locker for casting rods, center rod box for spinning rods. Plus I still have a day box and 2 tackle storage boxes. Overall my SP has more storage and it's only 19' 8" in length. I liked the wide body boats they offered, Lynx and Caracal. BCB discontinued the Lynx and totally redesigned the Caracal. I guess I'll keep what I got or look at another brand before i commit to this new front layout. Really disappointed!

They keep redesigning their boats but BassCat is not listening when people ask for a rod ramp between the console and the gunnel. Why doesn't BassCat follow the rest of the industry and make a rod ramp? I had to turn down a Caracal because my rods don't fit on the console side.
