Awesome boat love the new console design. I have a 2022 Caracal that a love. I just don’t understand why they built another 20ft boat. Nice video!

I too was there during the demo. I reordered a 24 Puma STS. I love my 22 Puma STS. I was debating whether to go with the Caracal STS or the new 2024 Model Puma STS. IMO, I really did not care for all those aggressive angles in the cockpit area of the Caracal. It was just way too much.
I like it but I am a massive fan of the Puma STS as well. Hard to chose honestly

Super easy to drive into the low 70’d if you balance the load. Only when you are trying to get the high 70’s is chine walk something to understand. But in reality. A well balanced Cat has minimal chine compared to other boats I have driven.
They are going for the rest of the champion crowd with this model. I am sold! That is the correct front deck layout. I would still rather the Lynx hull but the layout on that thing sucks.

Sorry Jp, The Caracal double rod locker on the port side was a great feature and must layout. Very disappointing that new Caracal sts doesn’t have that rod locker option! Not everyone wants just 80 + speed and give up comfort and deck layout. 😞✌️
I’m also partial t center rod box design but in production, sometimes the majority rule. It would depend on what the market study produced or maybe even to do with boxing? I’m no engineer. 😂
I agree I love the center rod box on my Caracal was also disappointed when they did away with it.
Nah, most bass boats out there don't give a good double center storage box set up. There are WAY too many center rod box options already, including Bass Cat. Glad to see them finally giving other people a choice. The Caracal has HUGE amounts of storage, that's one of its main attractions.
Hey, I have a Pantera classic, have you noticed the cooler lid on the step to deck has so much weather stripping,it feels like the lid isn't seated tight when securing? Thanks

I find that the compression latches do a great job of seating the lid down tight.
How about slapping on the new 500R, now that would be a beast, 100+??
The Jag with the 500R does triple digits. Can’t imagine what the Caracal would do 😂
How did it perform with the Suzuki Ss 250?
Did not drive it and don’t know the numbers but typically the Suzukis do it run like the Mercs and Yammies for speed. Great reliable motors though!
How'd you get your puma sts to run mid to high 80's with a 250 yami?
Trust ne it absolutely does not go 80 mph. Unless it's empty with zero gear. Even then I doubt it. I know, I own one.
High 70’s not high 80’s. Even my Lynx ran 77 loaded with two guys with a 250 SHO. Proper boat load, jackplate height and driving will work wonders on these hulls
Run it in 3- 4 foot chop? your opinion means less than mine
Actually yes, we had wake board boats all over the place on Table Rock when running them.

Do you have that SHO flashed ? Running in the mid 80s in the STS hull , wow !
No, the SHO is stock as is the prop. The Caracal is running high 80’s with the Merc 300R. The only boat I have tested with the SHO is the Puma STS and I have capped out at 78.5 mph loaded with two guys but I am on the limiter with a 25 T2 prop. Need a 26 to see what she has in her!
