Where did you find these sun patients? Did you have to order them online? Not sure what zone your in? But have you found a way to over winter them ?

I’m in zone 8a in eastern NC. I found them at a local garden center. I don’t have a greenhouse, but I’m sure they could be overwintered if I did. Here we treat them as annuals. Hope this helps!

I have a lot of brown spots on these and they seem to attract many beetles. Any suggestions? Thank you

Hard to say. They do like medium moisture and don’t like to dry out.
Perhaps the plants aren’t getting enough water. Check the soil w your finger and see if it feels damp.

These plants are very thirsty. They need water. They’re also not as sun tolerant as other plants. So sold afternoon shade or semi sun location is better. If they’re in a container they’ll need to be watered well at least daily if not twice daily in the heat of the summer.
