    These plants are troopers! I had them in containers in front of my house last year in a spot that got full sun all day. They looked a little rough some evenings when I didn't give them a drink but they rebounded quickly. They were gorgeous. A lady actually came to my door to ask me what they were. They're in the plan again this year!

    I know this video is a couple years old but I bought a couple of these last year and they did amazing! I took cuttings in the fall and they are now rooted and in a porch protected for the winter. My question is, will they do okay where they only get early east morning sun and some grow light light. Not enouph to really count I dont think. Will they be okay to bring out into direct sun or should I baby them for a while before planting in full sun?

    I have used SunPatients for several years and I love them! I really like the light coral 🌸
    Around September/ October mine get a little leggy. I may have planted them too close (I have them in the ground) . Should I trim them back? If so when is a good time to do that ? I normally plant mine around May 🍃🌸🍃

    I want to do mass planting in a bed that is 6.5 ft by 18 ft. How many plants do I need to fill in this area? The calculation our team predicted was 36 but that seems like WAY more than we need for this space.

    beautiful what do you spray the boxwoods for blight

    • @PAllenSmith
      @PAllenSmith  5 лет назад

      Vivian Gerard we’ve been fortunate with our boxwoods and haven’t had to treat. I would always suggest something organic if you did spray and I know there are some brands out there. The best thing (with most boxwood diseases) is to keep them pruned and maintained as much as possible being particular to remove anything dead, diseased, or damage. Including any dead leaves in/on the plant and/or on the ground around it. Also, a lot of boxwood issues start from the ground up. Be sure to have your soil checked, especially if you’re having a continual problem. I hope that helps Vivian. Thanks for watching!
