Love your channel Julian! Thanks for the videos. Can you do a video on Federal Government Honor's programs like DOJ? It doesn't seem like there is a ton of information on RUclips about them compared with the biglaw stuff. Is it on par with biglaw for starting a career? Did you have friends who did it and enjoyed it? Exit opportunities eventually? Thanks Julian!
Hi I'm currently in grade 11 in a South African high school I'm planning on attending a South African university respectively the university of Pretoria, what is the steps that should take to get into NYC big law. ❤️
very interesting video. I am curious when I worked as analyst at top tier consulting firm, there were a handful of other analysts who after a year or 2, you kind of knew they were gunning for partner. And since I last checked everyone of them had made partner there or at another firm. Is this the same in law firms? Like you know very early on who is at least in contention, and the rest should just move on?
Julian, do you think stem majors except for engineering with slightly lower gpa than other normal law applicants’ major like political science or phil would be ok or maybe could bring any benefits in case of t14 law?
As a current STEM applicant with a ~3.7 it depends entirely on your LSAT score. I’m below GPA medians for every school I applied to but I have 6 acceptances, with only 1 R & 1 WL, because I’m at/above their LSAT medians.
No such thing as a "good major for law school." It will be easier for you to earn a high gpa but not super secure if you decide not to got the law route
Thank you Julian for making these videos
Can you please do a video on how to start your own Law firm Thank you for your time, you have a great day.
Thanks for the videos! I really appreciate them and hope to go down a similar path to you!

how to become a partner at a law firm:
1) start as managing partner
2) piss people off - get overthrown
3) demoted to regular partner - done

Is there an estimate of how many percents of the firms income is going to the partners pool?
Is there a cap to the number of partners a law firm would make? I mean it's not like they could have thousands of partners and still go on, is it?

Are you considering patent law by chance?

there are better things to do than filling in those 1950 + hours ..... life is short - even lawyers should do more things they actually enjoy doing
