I largely agree with you except I would add some nuance to litigators needing to do lots of ‘legal research’. This is true if you’re in a big law firm handling complex cases; but if you’re in a small-mid sized firm handling some run-of-the-mill disputes (e.g. simple breach of contract for failing to repay monies owed), you don’t actually need to do much research if any.

This didn’t age well… 😂 you speak like you do 0 research or investigation work at all. As you’re a lawyer that’s very embarrassing.
