the fact the window is called "Microsoft account" really shows how desperate they are for people logging in instead of using a local account

It's just a web wrapper. It runs a local website on Edge. Microsoft always forwards you to their login website to avoid making native UIs, that's why they're using the same daemon.

I just tested it
It looks the same but if you maximize it the new region of the window is grey and zooming in (yes you can do that) only affects the original size)

Rebooting the OOBE gives you a grey screen starting explorer again crashes it and throws file system error -214719195

So it can create local accounts as ms account setup doesn’t work
Meaning if you set it up as an admin you can extract everything off an ms account based user on the local user
This process was incredibly scuffed

No it creates a new user account they can be removed in your original account via settings
