It’s not about what you say, it’s what you DO that defines you. You have our interest Shell, but actually prove it with real investments in EV chargers.
Given where we have come from, it is hard to accept this at face value. Shell needs to show authenticity. Start by taking responsibility, try apologizing. Take a leadership role for others. Convince us it is real by being honest, especially when it is not positive. Will a reduction in energy consumption be necessary? Are renewables a viable replacement? Can the infrastructure be rebuilt in time? Personally I would like to see oil and gas taking a lead on geothermal power - if anyone has the expertise to make this work, it is them.

The day Shell, as an era changing oil trust implements the importance of renewables, it is certain that world energy system is changing, I must say as a petroleum engineer. Shell is a key company in my mind to this kind of critical alteration as it is seen before WW1. Hope this time is for favor of humanity..

How is that so? Regardless, the important key area is to support the political parties with green leaning policies. This will definitely put a stop to any potential greenwashing. If government can incentive green policies, definitely traditional businesses will follow the money and switch to green energies. These are small steps to ensure there is still heaven on earth
