@@Heisenberdy Chris regularly has puzzles that cost him personally. He used to tell us how much they cost, and still does for the ones he buys from the maker or he has made for him. However, with things like the Poplocks or Will Strebos puzzles, they get snapped up immediately they go on sale (usually these are VERY limited editions), so he has to buy them online (eBay etc.). With those puzzles he says what they cost from the maker, NOT how much he paid on eBay! Also don't forget Chris has a number of searches constantly running and looking for SPECIFIC puzzles he wants. Make it
@@saucemagic it’s like telling people who drive to make the road, they can’t 😂
@@brunolecina2879 ikr, I don't get how he could just say "make it" 😂
Idk why, but it’s so satisfying to watch him do these puzzles.
i'm always asking myself that... and it's been a lot of videos, still no answer!
Because we can't afford to play ourselves. At least this way, we're involved.
Frederic Homerin every thing is a pussle even that
This is helping me get through a cold, i have major respect for a puzzle solver like you. For the cypher wheel you could’ve just guessed for the second one after getting the other three but you didn’t.
I am speechless. When I saw the "I'll be back" I had my mouth open wide for a full minute. I can't wait for the next part of the story. Keep up the great work Chris!
Dude same, that Puzzle was amazing

I know exactly how you feel!! I've been searching for adventures just like these, while I'll never be able to afford $20,000 to spend on one I'd gladly do it if I could!! I've played all of the games online in the "The Room" series (if you have not played you need too!) And I've always wished I could get my hands on a real puzzle box just like those!! My Father was a magician and taught me a lot of the old school tricks and prop secrets.. that was the start of my love for these wonderful contraptions!! Love your channel!! I live vicariously thru you!! If you have any recommendations for a company who's boxes are good quality yet affordable I'd love to hear them.. Glad to find another like me!!
normally I fast forward through the whole video, but with this one I just kept watching for 38 minutes straight because it was just such an awesome video! Keep it up Chirstopher ;)
Imagine in the future somebody finds this and think its an ancient artifact created by the gods only for it to be a 20,000 dollar custom puzzle
Just leave it in Egypt People are dumb

That is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen
Great minds think alike! ;p
My brain jumped to that conclusion as well
"IT'S TELLING US TO DRINK!"
Christoph Loges small minds also tend to agree.
I just played the room games not too long ago. They were utterly fantastic. Seeing the craftsmanship of these puzzle boxes come to life is sheer joy. My 6 year old self, playing MYST on windows 3.1 would be SO jealous and in sheer awe 😂. This is so cool!
I love the cover story. I wonder if/when Chris realized he'd been tricked and this was actually for him.
Your grandfather that let you buy his puzzle for 20.000$ -_-
@@umarsyarief696 you do realize that the 20k is simply the manufacturing cost of the puzzle, right?
It's not like Chris payed 20k for it himself
@@BooksRebound did you even watch the video? Someone sent it him to solve on his channel.
Anyway, that long-winded explanation is just to say that, Yeah.... He buys these puzzles himself (probably with money generated by this channel).
@@umarsyarief696 If you listen very carefully you should be able to hear that IT'S CHRIS' voice all the way through - it's a fantasy intro designed to be entertaining. It's not really a box that he's just found at the back of a cupboard!!
The production level is really cool
The one who made this puzzle is GENIUS.
This is the best puzzle solving I've seen so far.
This was the most interesting video of a puzzle. Love the craftsmanship of the makers.
I love how he is like a child with excitement when he discovers something in the puzzle. His overall enjoyment and love for the puzzles is what keep me coming back though this by far has topped the cake and Chris has earned my sub
dude he’s a genius, but at the same time he’s a straight up actor. Best intros on youtube🥳
i LOOOOVE the backstory! you gotta keep the story going!

I REALLY wanted Chris to try the last key in where the first key went.
Oh yeah true! Why would it leave a second key there?
Agreed.
@@royroos8036 I think the key is for an upcoming puzzel ...
It’s probably a spare key in case she misplaces the other one
Hmmm. The "end" could have been misdirection. The saga continues... When? Where? How? Good thinking, Ash.
Chris reached the point where he’s honestly playing “the room” irl
totally
I honestly was thinking the same 😂
yep
I love that game
Awesome Work! look at the Details and those Runes, it blows my mind!
Before : $20k for a puzzle that’s absurd !!!
After : that price seems reasonable
Aaa+++ will watch again
You were right at first, that's completely absurd and ridiculous
The price of a car or down payment on a house for a mystery box that is a few hours of entertainment?
We have very different ideas of "reasonable" ways to spend money, friend
Its cool and I agree there is some nice mecanics... still there is less than 100$ of material. Its all time but it still not at complicated as a car or nearly as material costly yet its the same price as a car.
Anthony Lab in this case paying for the 100s off hours invested in construction
@@KALSPL if it took him or his team 100s of hours to make it I think they should get woodwork lessons... its long but fat from the 100+ hours of work
Guess whoever made this puzzle has played „The Room“ a lot.
Or house of davinci 😂
Glad I'm not the only one who caught onto that
Such a great game
No joke!
My thoughts too
Epic Intro. I thought I was watching a movie.
Really appreciate all the effort put into it.Loved it
I love seeing how happy it makes you. I am living vicariously through you.
Hi, this is the LockPickingLawyer and today we are opening a $20,000 safe from Mr.Grandfather. As you can see this has a major design flaw.
*30 seconds late
Nothing on one. Two is clicking.
Chris:WTF
Now that is a RUclips mash up i would actually pay to see
LMFAO
Nothing on one click out of two three is binding lol
Lol
That would be pretty cool to watch. Breaking the puzzle vs solving it
As always man, this intro is on point. Threw me off when he said "Christopher" though 😅
it would b funny if he did a whole video of a full length version of grandpa, lil Christopher, and future Ramsey.
I almost got really into the story,

This seems similar to the game "The Room". I love the fact that they brought it to life.
I was thinking the same thing.
@@spacecase7566 i commented the same thing lol
I just finished the game and I couldn't agree more
One of my favorite puzzle games
I loved that game
I don't know if you know about a game called "The Room", but it is all puzzle boxes and this has very strong vibes from that game. In it you have a special lens that allows you to see writing and symbols and the storyline is someone has left you the puzzles/riddles to help uncover this magical element called Null. All gorgeous sequential discovery puzzle boxes like this and beyond. That game got me into puzzle boxes and led me to your channel.
For those of you who don’t know, Argus was a giant monster from Greek mythology with multiple eyes all over his body, often serving as a guard or watchman for Hera.
