You can use the needle orientation magnet to help get the needle's at the 5 degree mark. It's in the machine operators kit box, slightly larger than a match. You magnetize that on the eye of the needle and it lets you see where it's facing. Good luck! It looks like you're doing a great job.
Thank you for showing the EMT Melco setup to us. YES, Todd is an excellent Melco salesperson. He is very kind and patient. Plus I like your singing while you work - so refreshing.
Just started my embroidery journey by purchasing the brother pe800! Hoping to start turning my illustrations into designs for the machine :D. Can’t wait for it to get here!
Angela I hit the Bell, so I did not miss your videos. Really enjoy your informative videos. Thank you for telling us about Todd and having him join. I was wondering though where did you purchase your Babylock machines? I do love the Melco, but not sure about making that jump yet. Thank you.
Hi Angela! I hear so much about Pamela in your videos. How can I find her on RUclips? Specifically, you had mentioned she has a great video for multi position hoop. I’d like to find that video.
You use a 65/9 needle ..so you use a finer thread like 60 wt? If not, do you get a lot of thread breaks using 40 wt with the 65/9? Are you using a sharp or ball point on your t-shirts? Thanks for help and great videos😃
The Melco just goes so fast that’s why I need to use the 65/9 needles... I use the 75/11 on my brother/babylock machines. 65/9 is usually for super small text or thin garments... 75/11 is almost for everything except super thick items
What's up Kevin,I'm new to embroidery, so how you like the Ricoma MT-1501... I have a chance on purchasing one for 6k. Just wanted some info...thank you so much
@@kevindhousegaylesthanks, any problems that you ran into, and how is the customer service? And in your opinion is $6,000 a good deal for a one year old machine.
I would have expected this machine to self thread. Can you tie a new color to an old to more easily thread. My eyesight may not be able to handle 16 of those needles!
Depends on the tax rate of your state and whether or not you add anything to the "Angela" bundle. I added the pro clamps and exchanged the 6 included hoops for 3 mighty hoops, plus I live in Jersey so 6.625% sales tax=about $14,200.
Hi Blanca, It's Todd with Melco. Please reach out anytime and I'll give you the EMT16X package details for Angela's followers. (770) 820-8002 teggersman@melco.com
I don't know where she purchase from but this is her website to purchase them. Ajblanks.com I'm assuming she's purchasing bulk and personalized because it has her company name on them. Don't know where she buys them though. Let me know if you find that out lol
The 75/11 needles produce bigger holes (obviously because they are bigger needles lol) so with the Melco going super fast your putting a lot of bigger holes in the shirt at a faster rate and the shirt doesn't have time to "recover" so using the 65/9 needle ensures smaller holes thus much cleaner stitching! Hope that makes sense
You might need to check the format of the embroidery design you are downloading. Since you have a Brother machine, you need to make sure you are downloading a PES design format. Hope that helps.
You guys! I made my first sale on Etsy!
Congrats 👏
@@momo-xy9yz Thank you so much! I love this community! I always feel so encouraged!
Congratulations!!! And may it be the beginning of many sales💕
Congrats
I love it when you break into songs with your thought.🥰
Angela; thank you for the great video and on your second EMT16X. I appreciate you providing excellent information for everyone.
Thank you for being so nice to my subscribers! We all appreciate you!
I hit the 'Bell'! LOL! Love your videos. You're like Pam, a busy, busy woman!
I use a thin straight pin through the eye of the needle to hold it in place, and at the correct angle while I tighten the screw.

I just barely watched this. Thank you so much for filming this, now I know what to expect when I do get mine. If I get one. Let’s hoping. 😉
I love that people do not have to come through your home. Another great video! Congrats!!!
You are on fire! Congratulations on all your successes!
That was me! I suggested the chopstick. Why do you use 65/9 needles instead of the usual 75/11?
I can always dream!! Thank you Angela.
This is sooo awesome!!! I cannot wait to get my Melco! the E800!!! The PE 800 is what I am using now to get comfortable!!!

Yaay! Melco #2! And...Yes. I love your red hair!
Hi Tiffany, I hope you're doing well. Todd
Heeey Todd Eggersman! I am. I’ll call you tomorrow. Thank you for doing that video for us! You rock!
Angela, does Melco not have an automatic needle threader like the Brother? That would be a game changer for me.
Hi Angela! I hear so much about Pamela in your videos. How can I find her on RUclips? Specifically, you had mentioned she has a great video for multi position hoop. I’d like to find that video.
The Pam she talks about is Sterling styles
Catching up on all your videos while I pull stitches out off hats and visors!
I think the melco might be my next purchase
Did your machines come with a thin magnet? I have mine attached to the top and always use them when changing needles.
You should eventually replace your brother machines with the melcos. You could always sell the other machines.
Yesssss!
Hi, I love your comment! You are a woman after my own heart! Thank you, Todd

Why did you choose a Malco embroidery machine
Hey Angela...thanks for the video. Can you clarify when you recommend using 65/9 needles vs. 75/11. I thought 75/11 was the magic size. LOL!
The Melco just goes so fast that’s why I need to use the 65/9 needles... I use the 75/11 on my brother/babylock machines. 65/9 is usually for super small text or thin garments... 75/11 is almost for everything except super thick items
Angela Jasmina got it! Thanks!
Do you use the 65/9 on the Melco because it’s a commercial/industrial machine? Or do you use that size needle on all your machines, even the PE800?
I only use it on my Melco! Other machines I use 75/11
Angela Jasmina thank you so much for replying
Do you know if the fast clamp works on older Melcos?
Hi. Is this machine called Melco Amaya Bravo?
Do you like the Melvin more than baby lock?
Is this machine called Amaya bravo?
Omg! Your hair or curly. I thought you had straight hair!! Love your videos!!!
I was going to say.....NOOOO WHY YOU CUT YOUR HAIRRRRRR!!!! CURLY HAIR SHRINK.
She is lucky she can do both :) straight and curly. Mine is just straight lol
Love your videos and I have a Ricoma MT-1501

Lewis Garcia it’s cool I like it and I wanna get more machines and a few different ones as well
@@kevindhousegaylesthanks, any problems that you ran into, and how is the customer service? And in your opinion is $6,000 a good deal for a one year old machine.
Angela do you recommend us PE 800 users and fellow AJ Blanks users to use that size needle as well .. instead ofthe 75/11
The Melco just goes so fast that’s why I need to use the 65/9 needles... I use the 75/11 on my brother/babylock machines.
Angela Jasmina thanks 😊
How is the stitch quality on this machine?
Awesome!

Yes you can tie them! Super easy!
How much is this Melco including tax and or delivery?

Congratulation😍
i love your channle hugs from pam way to go keep the video coming can show more video on embroiery if you can
So the machine comes with the stand??
what difference in value between Melco and PR?
What the best needles for caps?
So maybe I missed it but what multi needle machine would you recommend for a beginner
I have the PE800 but trying to decide on the next machine...what would you recommend?
Babylock/brother 6 needle or if you can afford it the melco isn't much more expensive when you figure in the stand and hat hoop
Hi Angela is it worth on Etsy to upgrade to the monthly fee of $10?
Hi! I say yes because they give you $5 back in ad credits a month so it really is only $5 a month if you look at it like that!
Ok cool I’ll do that . Thank you Angela
Hi Angela where do you get the little girl and boys shirt Thanks
I don't know where she purchase from but this is her website to purchase them. Ajblanks.com I'm assuming she's purchasing bulk and personalized because it has her company name on them. Don't know where she buys them though. Let me know if you find that out lol
Hi sorry for butting into your convo.. lol. She has a business where she sells blanks for embroidery called AJ Blanks.

Angela, why do you switch the needles?
The 75/11 needles produce bigger holes (obviously because they are bigger needles lol) so with the Melco going super fast your putting a lot of bigger holes in the shirt at a faster rate and the shirt doesn't have time to "recover" so using the 65/9 needle ensures smaller holes thus much cleaner stitching! Hope that makes sense
Ok 👍🏽 thanks 🙏🏽
@@AngelaJasmina Still use 40wt thread ?
What is the total cost? Of that 1 Machine you have.
It is $12,500-$15,000 in the US depending on what you get with it!

Can u please do a tutorial on how to download designs to the usb stick. I have a brother pe535 and my designs dont show up on my machine.
