There’s a strip pit here in sout east Kansas full of rainbows and brown trout that get stocked every year and the bass and cat fish have been left alone. And grown big And very picky on what they will bite in. I think a game changer will be ripped apart by the bass cats and aggressive trout in the pit

Interesting to see how you tie a back hook. Do you use wire or mono. I use a belt + braces approach and put the back line/ cable through the eye of the front hook.

Great tutorial Cheech! On the beads did you put the larger bead on first and does it make a difference? Thanks.

Would a stinger hook at the tail adversely effect the action of this fly??

+kevin b no. It's a good idea for short striking species.

I sometimes use a very small treble .Not allowed on some waters. But a hook out back solves the problem of "tail nippers."
