I just wished that someone took detailed shots of his refrigerator over the years. There are so many magnets, postcards, stickers, photos, and NY ephemera that I would love to see up close..
6:28 i think Larry is right, the counter and booths are way too far apart. When people entered the door they only had to take a few short steps to reach the booth to talk to whoever was sitting there but if you look at the recreation, the entering person needs at good 4 or 5 full length steps to make it to the booth.
at 6:29 it seems there are one table too many between the counter and where they were sitting compare to back then www.ravishly.com/sites/default/files/field/image/festivus.jpg
Larry is right. The booths should be closer to the cashier and the front door. That lone table you see next to their booth at 6:30 should not be there, the booths should be there instead.
In 9 seasons Jerry's apartment didn't change, except for the time he had island cabinets installed LOL. So honestly, I think they changed too much. Fridge, cabinets, countertops, couch, dining table, coffee table, art on the wall, carpets on the floor, etc. Quit worrying so much about "it's been 10 years later, let's make it look like that" and give everyone what they recognize and love.
Where I live looks as it always has......... Now THAT'S depressing (I, on the other hand, have a lot of nicks and dings plus my skin doesn't fit as well, not to mention the "rooftop garden", so to speak.............
The set should be in a museum somewhere rather than shoved in a warehouse.
And we laughed, rightly, when Kramer used the old Merv Griffin stage set. Many years later, the original Seinfeld also gets reused lol.
😅scandals and animals.
Whoever though of putting the set back up really did a wonderful thing for the casts and the crews and of course us , the viewers. Thanks.
They should've had Larry walking by somewhere finding the Seinfeld sets in a dumpster like Kramer found the Merv Griffin set.

6:48 The guys who did it for 9 years, couldn't even remember... It's too bad that didn't have some kind of record, a picture, perhaps a video?
This is so interesting. I love all the background stories and sets of shows I love.

Absolutely! The tables are so far from the door, and the cashier would have been almost as close as Larry remembered.
Such an iconic set and it just gets shoved away in a warehouse all beat up. It should be in a museum
At least they didn't just throw it in the dumpster, like Merv Griffin. ;-)
@@Tmanaz480 That’s one of my favourite ever episodes. When he eats the chips in the break 🤣🤣
I can’t be the only one that gets a Ben Stiller in Happy Gilmore vibe from the guy in the beginning with the coffee cup.
Absolutely, I was going to write the same thing
i think larry is right. the door and counter are too far back 😃

Absolutely wonderful
Glad that everything is "original"
Very cool loved the show back in the day

I like the new fridge and counter tops. Wish mine looked that good!

Match moldings? Any carpenter could make exact matches fairly easily with a router.,

Ist to farback... ❤️❤️
When you rent you really can't do much remodeling/upgrading unless you can work out some kind of deal with the landlord.
4:55 Kramer???
No way
Guy sounds like Kermit the frog
Green bike
His apartment was kinda dinghy looking. I don’t think they should have updated it unless they were shooting a reunion episode.
Rebuilding? They went to the warehouse and picked them up..

How much prison time did they do? And he still paid his rent, and or had an aprmt sitter during that period?
They were sentenced to a year.
Very very picky!
Every time that man says 'original' smack yourself.
