A bit of a criticism: The explanation for Landscape settings is just "Bigger section makes environment bigger, more components will have more components, etc". Yeah...clearly? What does that mean for the game? I mean, why bother saying that, if your goal is just to show how to do something without explaining what anything means (which is fine for whoever needs that)..
These are the settings no one explains to the point of why chose one way over another? What are regions and what’s best practices?
Thank you for the tutorial do you have one on basic navigation during building the world and how it differs when using game mode? I struggle to move with the mouse alone if there are hot keys to use like arrows on the keyboard or similar?
is there a way to add more landscape and joining them like an extention
Go in Landscape Mode --> Select Manage --> Add
@@Abrahamhamham i mean extending them not just adding so it can use one material instance
I'm just trying to find one without landmass but everyone seems to use it.
Hi :) Is there any way to disable terrain modification effect when add ocean or river on scene? For example, I wanted to control by myself in what places and how deep it should be under water, something up something down.
Thank you bud 👍👍
thought I had a decent Video Card but I can barely work in the Landscape mode without my GPU crashing
its experimental and buggy, jus tlike the water plugin. Theyre working on it. Its just taking forever
Is this from the same livestream doing landscaping?
Yep!
automatization with AI will make this process incredible firecastly This work must make AI and human just make some little changes of view
useless tutorial
Thank you for this. I'm in the process of creating a story for a game. I want to make a Home Alone inspired RPG game, where the Parents go on a trip but the plane crashes and all the adults in the neighbourhood go missing. You have to make friends with other teenagers and try and survive for as long as possible. And the plot twist is the reason the plane crashed. Zombies! And the teens will have to work together to not just survive burglars but also Zombies.
