    Hi Rhys,
    I started watching your videos and found them very interesting, I fish wild lakes in Ireland for wild brown trout,
    I was speaking to a group of friends I was telling them about your videos as they are more into rainbow trout fishing then me.
    Now they are arranging a trip to clweydog lake which I am very much interested in going to in July any tips on flies and gear would be appreciated, keep up the videos

    Hey, thanks for all the great videos. A little confusing thing for me is. 15ft leader but what about tippet. I get that you call tippet a leader but then does that mean you tie it directly to the line??? So what it is? Line + leader + 15ft tippet or no tippet and Line + 15ft leader??? Thanks again!

    • @RhysFishes
      @RhysFishes  Год назад

      Tippet and leader are the same thing, just different terminology. So from the end of the fly line I have 15ft of fluorocarbon straight through with no tapering. The flies sit at 5ft intervals = 5,10,15ft. Hope that helps :)
