I've been playing tennis for ten years and this is some of the best tennis I've seen from a beginner. Hopefully this encourages more people to give tennis a try. Happy hitting!
I’ve only played tennis once and I wasn’t good at all. I just bought a racket yesterday. I’m super excited to try it again after a couple of years. This gave me confidence and inspired me to improve in tennis and other activities I “don’t do well in”.
tennis almost directly translates to ping pong which I think you'll really enjoy because of the fast nature of the game and would love to see you tackle that one day. love these 30 day challenges Kize!
I can't remember how I stumbled across your videos. I'm pretty sure it was through reddit, but anyway I've been really enjoying them. I look forward to what you do each time. You deserve way more hype for the time and effort you put into these. I hope you stick with it. I saw MKBHD saying that when he got to his 100th video, he only had 100 subscribers but he kept working. I know you have 24k but it sucks this only has 1200 views and 200 likes, because you certainly deserve more. Anyway, I'd love to see a part 2 of tennis, but honestly I'm just looking forward to whatever you do next.
I've been playing tennis since I was a little kid and I'm just blown away by how quickly you progressed in 30 days. There were guys on my high school team who couldn't hit a forehand like you. If you'd started young I swear you'd be a phenom. I'm also a BJJ practitioner and saw your jiu jitsu video, and was again really impressed by your progress. I think it took me about 3 months before I got a submission on anyone 😅. So at this point I'm starting to suspect you're some sort of athletic phenomenon and just showing off 😂. Nice channel! It's really good to see new things from a beginner perspective.
I've Been playing tennis for over 5 years and I think I call my self a pro BUT When I saw u play in the first clip I was impressed, That's very good for a begginner like you, You have a talent in tennis, Keep it up.
Thanks for showing love for tennis! You’ve played and learned so well in just a month! Ridiculous. As for your injury, you will not be the first or last person that’s a beginner or veteran to get them. From watching this video I can say it’s because of hitting the ball too late or slightly behind your contact point. This causes you to “muscle” your shot and can cause tennis elbow & sometimes wrist injuries. Most wrist injuries are also caused by constant shock or vibration from when you hit the ball so in addition to hitting late sometimes, putting a shock dampener on your racquet will help tremendously. I was also a stickler for form & technique but constantly found my arms being too sore to keep playing often. It wasn’t until I saw pros just rallying with 0 effort & still hitting harder than my hardest shots that I realized it was just timing. I also realized I could hit the ugliest shot possible, but if I timed it right IE, hit it in front of me instead of behind, it will still go over the net and even with some pace behind it.
Hitting against the wall at 3:46 perfect solid forehand. Leading with the wrist. Then driving racquet head flat and through the ball. At same time, finishing with weight transfer to front foot. Most tennis players think that a good top spin has to be either a "glancing" upward blow with "downward" facing racquet "whip". That's just what we see when professionals have the skill to be able to "over do it". Then the rest of us try to copy that.
Hi Kize. Nice video. I liked the fact you wrote some texts in Spanish. I'm a Spanish native speaker. I like your videos. Keep going. You are going to succeed.
Since your videos take so long to make due to the commitment it requires along with the minimum time frame required for a proper development in skill thus it might be better to do a qna once a month so that people get to know more about you, also the algorithm would promote the channel more👍🏼
I just found your channel and I watched 3 of your videos I like them I hope your channel grow up a lot I think it would be great if you try programming too or maybe a skill that is related to computer 🤔🤔
Oh you’ve played before b/c you have good movements, good follow through and even pick up your right foot for hip rotation on forehand. Not beginner 😅 Tip: for your wrist hurting and blisters, try to hold your racket looser, more relax, don’t strain your wrist and don’t tighten unnecessary on forearm. Smooth and relax. Also change your grip on your serve to more of a backhand grip 👍 Enjoy watching your series .. you’re so determined ‼️
I had a bunch of wrist and tendonitis in the little finger in the start, but then I learned about the different grips and started using the semi-western grip instead of the continental for my forehand (yeah I had no knowledge about grips in the start) and after the change my tendonitis healed with time and all wrist pain also stopped.
Your backhand is better than your forehand. Especially, because you get to the ball early and in perfect position. All your weight in the front and your back foot lifts up to follow through. I see you trying that on your forehand, but remember when you turn sideways to swing the forehand is at your back foot. You must either rotate more and hit "two footed" or "wait" for the ball to come to you then transfer momentum to lead foot.
When you learn something new, do you do it right next to a regular day job? Or do you completely empty your schedule to focus as much as possible on this one thing? So happy I came across your channel, I find it super inspiring ^^
Just the difference between people who barely get lessons vs her were she spent every day playing and getting lessons. Don’t get me wrong she got good in 30 days o just think that it’s due to her pass experience and her lack of any other activity.
At 4:47 you look like a college team player. Okay, you just mentioned that you played tennis when younger. I can see that. Foot work and back turn is very efficient. That's not 0-30 days skill level. I can also see that you are not "over-exaggerating" the top spin. Like most beginners would be doing. They either, "flip wrist" finish, or swing the racquet from a "ground start" and then "up to the head or over". You are "leading" with forward weight transfer and drive, and then "raising" the racquet to add the top spin. That is solid, consistent technique.
too much forced wrist motion to generate topspin. When you should be using a combination of wrist and forearm. Also it would help if you used a lighter racquet that head radical oversize frame youre using is made for strong aggresive hitters.
I really love your videos and how you always try new things!! I was wondering if you could go for "ventriloquism in 30 days" or something? Just a suggestion ^^
can you please tell what what have you done in the rapping challenge like in more detail plss i actually really like to rap but i can't do raaap . Can you do next vocal like you learn to improve vocals . plss tell . Edit - love from india
Your first mistake was standing on the baseline when you started practicing you should’ve never did that go directly to the net and start doing small volleys with your partner across the net.

I coach tennis and I can tell you that this is some incredible progress within a month. Trust me when I say you could be a heck of a player.
I'd be up for a part two, such clear improvement from where you started and another really fun video, well done!
I've played tennis for 20+ years and this is really impressive! You have very good coordination! Come on over to Australia and we'll have a hit :)

I've been playing for 20 years. You never stop learning. You can always improve.
I've played tennis for 8 years as an 11 yr old and when I saw this I was thinking how you improved so fast. Amazing!

Your videos are always so inspiring!!
Are you doing a follow up? 60 days? 90 days? You're actually quite good and it might be worth seeing how far you can go.
Thank you! I’m taking a month break to focus on another skill and let my wrist heal, but I’m planning on coming back to it next month
@@KizeBae You are 💯 right about that shoulders more than wrist thing. Totally hope that wrist heals up well!
Thank you!
@@KizeBae hi from Malaysia. I tried tennis once but now I cannot........I lost talent. I hook to badminton now. I subscribe your channel always.
You did great! Enthusiasm truly helps your development. You're a natural. Keep at it - tennis is a lifetime sport. 😎

My thought exactly, her BH is better than her FH, not that the FH is bad. For a beginner, she has lots of potential.
This challenge was really fun to watch :D
Yo forreal you picked this ip quick lol keep playing !
yes tennis part 2!

That was incredible progress in such short span. She might need to move on from the beginner racket to a more advance version which would up her game

Hi I believe that your wrist was hurting because of the topspin. When you hit topspin you use your wrist a lot. You improved a lot though!
Your first mistake was standing on the baseline when you started practicing you should’ve never did that go directly to the net and start doing small volleys with your partner across the net.
Great job!

Ma'am I'm coaching tennis hopefully soon in ther future i play tennis with you🎾🎾
How's your hand
You know a better demonstration of this 0 -30 days would be to "switch hands". Learn to play with your weak hand. Now, that will be very interesting.
We need to link up and play 😉😉
Tqsm for this one
