I had pretty bad cholecystitis and cholethiasis last year 11 stones in my gallbladder plus sludge which dissolved down to one stone prior to the gallbladder surgery. I was lucky to survive as it was close to gangrenous. The pain was next level so relatable.

Of course, there are also several hundred other books/series on the list. I watched your video a couple of months ago where you were reading negative book reviews of your own writing. I've also been following your traumatic health expetience here. Together they convinced me that I could not put it off any longer! I'm not far in at all - only chapter 5, but I'm enjoying it immensely so far! I am totally understanding why so many reviewers lament that it's difficult to believe that this is your debut book! It absolutely does *not* read as a "first (published) book. Anyway, you have to get better! I'm hoping you're using this time to allow your imagination to wander! Take notes! Damn 53 lbs in 3 months is a hell of a lot. At least you had some to lose though. If you got this and were really thin it makes me wonder what would have happened. I hope you just keep having a positive attitude. The more time that passes the less likely it is to take a bad turn. And while it may not always feel like it we all can tell you already have made a ton of progress.
