I've realised that stress is the product of working on at something you're not really interested in. Something you do just for the money. I can work endless hours at voluntary jobs where theres no money involved, and as a consequence there is no stress whatsoever. Its not about working hard or long hours, its about actually doing something that has meaning and is genuinely helping people.
We all know that sinking feeling of going to something we HATE. Especially a job or class. I've been through lots of jobs which killed my soul and also definitely hope to never be trapped to a 9-5. This is an inspiring video to us who want freedom and live a life on our own terms. Amazing video as always, Elon! :)
I hate working. And a 9-5 is a nightmare for me. Come 14.00 I want to escape through the window, i see a door opening and i just want to run away like nothing else! Just start running out of the door and never return xd
Real Freedom is when u can do what u want not what is forced to do. If u are a person who does 9-5 job u are 95% not happy.U need to do what u r passionate and happy about.
I understand where your coming from and it's nice your tryna give back to ur parents for all they did but you have to succeed in something you intestwd in no matter what anybody says cause I have tryed pleasing others which was good for them but for me it wasnt😵 I was carrying heavy burdens just please yourself before others
That reddit post is sadly how the majority of people think: "Just bare a job to pay bills and live for the weekends." I learned I have to do work that I'm passionate or at least very interested in or else I'll burnout quickly, quit or my performance will slip. I know that sinking feeling all too well on Monday mornings and the thoughts of "I can't do this anymore." When you get to that point something needs to change asap
In Nigeria I resume work 7:45am and close 6pm. It's been like that here for a long long time. But I'll break free soon. Time is our greatest asset and we can't keep sacrificing it for peanuts. Have an exit plan for it all
This video is very insightful. It doesn't say just quit your job. It says in whatever sphere of life you are in. Do what you enjoy. If not happy, work on changing things to the way you want them to be, instead of fretting over it. Keep up the good work @ProjectElon

When deprived of the basic needs, even if u like the job, your body can't work as expected. So dream job is practicing as a doctor till 5pm in future. So that the patients can also get benefited
Thank You.. I just quit my job. It wasn't that bad, but I just didn't like it. I love the freedom of doing what you want. Thinking about travel a lot and doing Bug Bountys for side money. I can pretty much travel and do bug bounty while I am on the road.
a better question to ask yourself and frame your life around is, why are you alive?, what is your purpose?, what will happen to you after death? is life just merely this hedonistic playground for your desires with an empty death or have you been created with a purpose and a goal, a direction, something greater than just your life. these are the questions when once answered and put into practice will bring you fulfillment and happiness
