      Technically that's because you have crossed that moment.I always hated being a kid cause of all the exams and criticism I got in school,I wanted to be an adult so I can do what ever shit I want,now that I'm a adult I actually want to be a kid again(the time I hated when I was living in it)these might seem as great memories when we look back but I prefer saying I enjoyed every part of my life than saying I hated my lifestyle in the past but now it is a good memory.whats the point in not living the moment and feeling good about it afterwards.

  • @ladybird491
    @ladybird491 3 года назад +23

    When people work 9 to 5 they do cause it's easy to depend on someone else to pay them then themself. They believe the risk of losing income is much lower and they are super wrong because an employer can set you up to get fired if they want you gone and can just fire you and need no reason. You are not replacable if you work for yourself and only one who can fire you, is you.

My colleagues think it’s hilarious that I liken my office to a jail and tell them the blinds are the bars! I need an escape plan. This 9-5 soul-crushing existence where everyday runs into the next and your boss calls you AFTER 5 or you’re sacrificing your weekend because “you’re salary and we have to prep for the audit or you need to complete the (fill in the blank) report”, so it feels like I’m never *done* working!!! We’ve been brainwashed. Great vid!

Do that for 11 months just so you can have a vacation off two weeks. while barely having any free-time like ever.
    Be one day off and you get messages from your boss telling you how because you did not show up for one day you are irresponsible and delays will happen while ranting about all negative outcomes of me staying a day home unannounced and calling you constantly. I felt not in control , like i was wasting time just for money that i don't care about at all. I rather get less and be left the fuck alone.

    I watched the whole thing. I can relate so much to this!!! Well firstly in my experience 9-5's are never really actually 9-5 because they will lay on so much work that you are forced to work overtime for no extra money. I am glued to a desk for nine hours with people who are essentially strangers who you would never be with in a million years otherwise! Whats more sitting on your backside for 9 hours a day also takes a huge toll on my fitness and all the office politics and bull**** have an impact on mental health. Also pay has no real correlation to how good of an employee you are (yes I know how much some of my colleagues earn through seeing their jobs advertised before they started etc). I want out I'm working on an escape plan!!

I have done about 4 internships and i can tell you i was depressed at all of them. Follow yourself and your dreams. Not the sheeple of society. I really hope that in the next five years i can find a good stream of income online. And retiring the job i will have in the future before the age of 35. Sorry this comment is so long. A lot of baby boomers work their tales off so they can make sure their kids/grandkids will be taken care of in case anything should go awry. Then you have the second group of peeps who just like and want to keep up with the joneses.

    • @nicholastemplebrown
      @nicholastemplebrown 3 года назад +1

      @@keeyonbeaty2424 Unsure if you are being sarcastic or not, regardless. I went onto youtube and sourced several mentors that were successful and or someone that i wanted to be like in the future. (someone that had financial freedom). Copy their daily habits. After that i downgraded my life style ie. Got rid on my car (Bought a bicycle). Moved to a cheaper rental. Basically anything that you do not NEED get rid of. Live like you refuse to spend money. Do not listen to anyone else about success other than your mentors, even your friends and relatives. (Unless they have mastered the goals you want for yourself, ie. Financial freedom). One of the main reasons you are not living your dream life is because you have been taking advise from people that are not successful them selfs. Ie. Friends and family. (With all due respect to them). We all love our mum and dad but they tend to give terrible advice about money etc. (Unless they are financially successful). Find something you love and smash it everyday, for me it was trading cryptocurrency. When i mean everyday i mean everyday. not 4 times a week, everyday. If you find something you love then that takes care of motivation. It's no longer is a job but something you love. You have to be aggressively patient (Working on your passion everyday but understand success doesn't happen over night). Understand when you loose your excuses you find your results.
      Getting out of your comfort zone can be scary, for anyone. quitting your job moving to a different place will be scary as you do not know what the future holds but how will you every know if you do not give it a crack? Mans greatest burden is his/hers unfulfilled potential. Go for it man, who cares what your friends and relatives think. If they are your friends they will support you. Understand that being successful is hard but staying successful is even harder thats why 99% of people never give it a go. Unsure if this helps, hopefully it will. This is just my opinion and my experience.
