Disagree on Mojo. When the wheel stops, sure, you will get one or two *intense* rounds - but I have never felt these rounds to be unfair or impossible. Plus, from a design perspective, I think these moments are a success because they guarantee a sort of "mod set synergy" that you just don't get from diluting the cards into the encounter deck. If there's a design failure there, I'd say it's the fact that you're supposed to just use the mod sets included in the Mojo Mania pack.

We actually have very similar preferences, like 80% overlap! It was very interesting comparing this to your last list to see what changed. I love seeing VG, Thanos, Sinister Six, Ronan, and Collector II (my favorite scenarios) go up. Also couldn’t agree more with your sentiments on Nebula/Loki 🤮
I’m here for the Loki hate. 😅 lol. Maybe bc Loki is such a cool villain and I really hate that the gauntlet is required. I love his switching mechanic tho. And Nebula 😑
We are essentially in agreement with both Love Them and Not a Fan which is kind of crazy considering I exclusively play 2H solo on expert. Totally agree about Mojo btw. He is not a fun scenario but for me possibly a different reason. I just don’t like rush at all. Not ever. Sucks all the fun out of the game. You’re spot on about the wheel cards going on top being kind of bad too. The one I would rank differently would be Kang but I could see why the scenario doesn’t work for the true solo folks. Other than that I would flip Magog and Spiral, and move both crossbones and escape from the museum up considerably. Wrecking Crew is also a scenario I like better than most given how I play the game. Solid stuff, D20! I would watch more of your actual games but I find it hard to always know what all the cards are doing. I then get a little lost and wind up turning it off. Team Covenant back in the day was kind of the gold standard with the cards popping up on the screen when they would mention it but that took another whole person so I get why that isn’t doable. Still just my 2 cents of feedback about what does work for me. I do enjoy all of the other MC content though!
Yeah card pops would be nice to do honestly. I just don’t have a great way of doing it. Especially not for the live stream videos but I do think if I do a series of off stream plays it could be done. Just take a long time to edit. And it would need a different series name I think
39:17 when you see Web warrior fanatic beat Venom Goblin with Spider man (Peter Parker) and he has BEAT COPS and he is controlling VG…I don’t think the older heroes should be ruled out.
It's always funny on these kinds of lists (and a lot of people do this) is that they'll give a bunch of criticisms to one thing, rank it (Hela, Juggernaut), and then give the next item mostly nothing but compliments, yet rank it lower (Klaw)
I found it strange that picking 3 modulars for crossbones is kind of too much effort, but Mysterio putting his cards into your deck all the time, forcing you to constantly shuffle without looking, doesn't get mentioned as something that is annoying/time consuming! I don't mean this in a passive aggressive way, obviously extra time during setup and extra time during the game are different things, and the Mysterio gimmick is at least memorable which might offset the bit of extra admin. I understand how one might dislike one thing and be ok with the other, but to me getting an extra modular takes like 5 seconds, whereas the Mysterio shuffling tax is a drag. Something something first world problems :D
Set up isn’t usually the issue. It’s putting it away is the time consuming part. And shuffling to me doesn’t take much time. So doing a quick shuffle doesn’t bother me but I get it
@@D20Woodworking I think part of my problem is having to shuffle together the fancy colored sleeves I use for heroes and the cheap clear penny sleeves I use for villains, without "piloting" the decision of where the Mysterio card lands (or Mystique card, for that matter). Some might say a self inflicted torment.
Why do you find Strife so easy? You cant rush him, but you have to push damage, then it flips to 2B and things get very hard (cards costing a ton and him hitting for a lot). Video idea: recommend modular sets to try out (or rank) and even maybe pair it with villains you think is the Best/most fun
Things may cost more but you get more cards. It’s easier to get to your doubles or just play more events I find. So 2B has always been a bit easier to me. And I like that video idea.
Wait you don’t have to shuffle the cards in for mojo? Maybe i should read better then haha. That’s why i never understood the hate for Mojo, because i really enjoyed it everytime while shuffling the cards in

It is crazy how over time villains can move around so much on tier lists. It's really fascinating stuff in general.
Revisiting this video after Age of Apocalypse released! Where are you feeling those scenarios would rank based on your plays of the new box so far?
