  • This week on Chronic Illness Weekly I'm still showing the symptoms for coronavirus as I cant' get rid of my cough and I'm even more fatigued than usual. I try to start going back to normal a little too quickly and it doesn't go well. Was it a cold or was it COVID19 - we will never know.
Chronic Illness Weekly is, you guessed it, a weekly vlog showing you my life with Chronic Illness. I share my experiences with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome ( EDS ), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome ( POTS ) and Chronic Migraine. I fight chronic pain and fatigue and many other symptoms on a daily basis but I try not to let it stop me.

I’m so glad that your priorities are so well grounded. To see you worrying about everyone else as well as yourself is refreshing. With all of the confusion and mixed (mis)information it’s hard to make sense of it all. Being a “chronic ,” adds another layer of garbage to everything. The best way that I can make it through my day is to make sure I get one thing done each day and anything else is a bonus. After that I will reach out to a friend or family member on the phone so I know that the world is still out there. After all of the virus stuff subsides, I think we are going to see some rather big changes. Our world is never going to be the same again. Like every other event some changes will be fantastic, others, equally dreadful. All we can do is roll with the punches. Being a chronic gives us an advantage because we are used to having to adapt constantly! Most of the “normal “ people are not. Stay grounded, tons of spoons and warm thoughts to you!!! When you feel alone, you can always send me a message and I’ll try to respond to it right away. Well, many more spoons and warm thoughts to you. Have a fantastic week!!!!!

You know I spend too much time worrying about other people over myself :P The misinformation is definitely the worst! I'm so glad that the chronic illness community means I already have an online community and don't have to start from scratch finding people to connect with online. Plus having hobbies, I'm scared for those who don't. Definitely agree we spoonies have an advantage here for a change :P
Spoons & Love Gordon hope you're keeping safe!
