That hood I want for my HEMI ! Favorite hood
I love the hood! I thought the original hellcat hood was bad ass but this is on another level.
Looks pretty decent nice spec cat. I’d change that air filter immediately though homie looks like dirt haha it’s supposed to be blue. ✌️
The dealership you bought this car from is so wrong for putting those tires on the car. Wanli Sport Macros have no business on a car with this level of performance.
I said the same thing 🤣
Shyt clean 👌🏾
Thank you!
Nice and also interesting video for me as a European!
Nice car and color. The flares were going to be an issue from the jump. They made it a widebody the cheapest way they could and plastic flares are less than perfect. Still, sounds like your going to correct it as needed. Appreaciate the tips - I'll be looking closely for cracks in flares if I pick up a WB to go with my Scat, and NBRE.
Did it cut off by itself? If it did that means something is wrong with it and needs fixed anytime some wrong with these cars it disables remote start i know cuz I’ve had that issue before
Turned it off with the key.
Nice!
Thank you!!
Very Nice. I have a 2016 Challenger Hellcat and I want to up-grade one day to a 2022 Challenger Hellcat.
I miss my 2016 all the time. Don’t be like me lol if you get a 2022 make sure it’s a Redeye!
@@Torred717 why you say that lol? I test drove a redeye when i traded in my zl1 for my 2nd hellcat & to be 100% honest it wasn't that much a difference the way people made it seem it would be so i just got the 22 challenger regular body in triple nickel. The regular body seems to be faster on the higher speeds. Car came with 1,400 miles.
@@SRTHEMI I believe it man! I just get mad looking at redeye’s sell for the same price I paid! What year was your zl1? I’m thinking of getting a second vehicle and I’ve been eyeing a 6th gen zl1.
As far as the redeye vs the standard hellcat, it seems to have a better base for modifications! Beefier internals. I plan to leave my cat stock outside of intake and exhaust. But my second car I’ll definitely be toying with.
@@Torred717 it was a 23 brand new i only had it for a month. It was fast but man its nothing like a hellcat lol. Had a hellcat charger before the zl1.
I believe the factory satin black hood is painted not wrapped. I know it’s that way on my 2019 redeye. It also includes the roof and trunk lid in satin black but those are wrapped I think, so I’m not sure that wrap on the hood of yours is factory 🤔
Ok that makes sense. I didn’t know they were painted from factory. I definitely like the option to have it black or red.
I bought a 2016 used at 37k last year only had one problem with back glass defrost going out replaced that and haven’t had problem since did an upper pulley injectors intake now making over 900hp who needs a demon 😉
Exactly! Enjoy that monster!
I'm 60 Plus and like cruising in the slow Lane. Why RedEye?
Because right about now, you’re buying used, you can find redeyes with similar mileage for the same price as hellcats. And I feel in the long run, the redeye is gonna be a little more valuable. But that’s just me! For what I paid, 3k more I could’ve been in a redeye. But I had a trade in and preferred a dealer that also sold chevy’s. Needed the most for my trade in.
“If” you’re buying used. Sorry
She looks good used if u ask me...i dont understand what's the big issue if u do ur home work
Exactly! No reason to pay dealer markup, and this one was optioned very well!
You sell the trail boss?
Yes I sold it.
Someone hit a curb (i'll bet) causing the cracked front lower grill and cracked fender flares. The grille is an easy replacement. The fender flares...I would just leave as is. That's just my opinion. 🙂
Yea I’ve got a grill on the way! But I may opt for a direct connection widebody kit in the future. The cracks are killing my OCD lol.
Never even started the car like you said you would 😂

Don't Be Sorry!
Do you still have the Silverado
No sir I traded it in. Was missing the v8. That truck was the 2.7
@@Torred717did you you carry negative equity into the hellcat from the truck trade in?
@@scumbob5157 yes sir. A ridiculous amount.
Engines are bulletproof. Have to buy it used. Better yet buy one from copart 😂
Yep u right 😂
What is it like to drive? Been starting to look at these used. 😁
It has been a blast! I’m going to try and get a driving video posted this week. Only thing I’ve noticed is there is a shake periodically in the steering wheel in the 70mph range. Anything more or less than that she tracks perfectly straight. It’s got some cheap tires with little tread so I’m thinking it’s a balance issue
take off the wrap put on black racing stripes
That’s exactly what I’m thinking about doing! Love the look of the stripes
Wheres the trail boss?
I traded it in, truck was great! But it was 2.4 turbo. If I kept it much longer I would’ve been buried in it. I should have ignored the dealer incentives and just got a v8 to begin with. You live and you learn though.
@@Torred717 buried meaning upside down?
@@jimwashington860 yes. The turbo silverados from my understanding don’t hold their value the way the v8s do. What this dealership offered was literally half of what the truck retailed for 10 months ago. And it was very low mileage
@@Torred717 you didn’t like the 2.7 engine?
@@jimwashington860 I wouldn’t say that. I honestly never had an issue with power or anything. I just have always been a car guy. I sold my hellcat to get a truck back in 2020. 3 trucks later I’m back in a car. The truck was great, it just wasn’t something I could say I enjoyed driving daily. It was just a point a to point b thing.
Used car gang 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
Yessir!!
