And they're level 25 and 26, showing that Wes isn't a rookie ten year old trainer, he's a seventeen year old (According to the wiki) former Team Snagem Snagger and he's been at this for a decent amount of time.
I love when you can get one of them to randomly go through Rider Willie's legs (after getting hit), it's one of my favorite things to see since my cat does that too.
I owned this game but was so young when I first played it. I remember it taking me so long to beat the actual game itself. Good memories of my big brother beating Mt. Battle for me though. Absolute legend.
This game got me to like umbreon and espeon. I remember playing this on my wii and at tye time i didnt have a gamecube memory card so if i want to play id start over from the very beginning and when i did it was so satisfying to see more of the game.
I started with Ruby and XD, so I'm gonna be hella biased, but I agree. If I ever made a top 10 or top 25 playlist of battle themes alone, Colosseum and XD would be eating up a lot of slots.
Never too late to learn an instrument. Of course, take it at your own pace, but if you really wanna play that thing, just get up and do it. There's a lot of resources out in the open that weren't there previously, I'm sure you'll be able to find your way to playing it beautifully with enough hard work and practice! (Also, from a musician, first and foremost your best friends are scales 100%. If you can play scales, you can play anything, including the riff in this song. C Major for this song in particular is what you're gonna wanna look into practicing.)
@@Jogamita Better question, why are the best tracks in this game the ones that aren't associated with any of the bigger picture of the game. Tournament Semi-finals, First Battle, Pyrite Town... It's all so great and I remember being let down by the ending beats due to how good the rest of it was.
@@Jem-Fury nah the final battle theme was still pretty epic, sometimes just understandably difficult to follow up on the other masterpieces of music they had already made. All together this game has the best battle music in the entire series

This game is a HUGE bitch to get in english. Even then, if you got a japanese copy for the lower price, you'd need a japanese gamecube. Having Espeon and Umbreon as starters was absolute genius

A lot of stadium and colosseum mons made me feel that way just because their animations were so fun...

Still the best

The single greatest expectation setting piece in a video game ever
I do love the start to this game. Sadly, FF7 just wins this debate here. But I do agree that it's definitely a wonderful start to a game no doubt.
the way they cut the acoustic guitar in and out around the synth brass is masterful
The way they introduced this as only playing on the first battle of the game was pure evil 😂
facts lol i wanted this song to keep playing throughout the game!
