Such an awesome interview. Tons of memories on the industry. ECCD it's an amazing game, I've got my copy a few years ago and it's while complex, a great fighting game, tons of charm and content. The combo system and juggles make it so much fun to play.

Adding the combo system was a huge thing for me…props to Michael Latham who allowed me to add this, power combos, and skill-based (non ki-based) special moves. A wonderful experience working on that game.

@@angelmanfredy It totally elevates the game in comparison to the first one. Like night and day. And yes, my fav character is Ramses, his combos and moves flow so good, it feels logic and natural :D

Now SEGA has just officially announced a movie being made of Eternal Champions. This to me is bittersweet considering that the creator of the franchise is no longer here to see the recent developments with the game, including a remake/reboot coming. All spearheaded by SEGA of japan of all places. Good interview guys.

The AI engineer was brutal. It’s my one lament about this mid game. I was more focused on the controls, the new combo system, new features, etc. SEGA QA was pretty talented so it wasn’t flagged as being as hard as it was. MUCH better playing vs friends.
