Hi. First time on your channel. Thought Id watch the first 3 video. Really enjoyed them all. Yes have gone back to the beginning of your channel. Will make my way through all your videos. Great viewing. Richard from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺
great video mate,,,your video is very informational,,myanmar has the most beautiful people with all sorts of ethnicity, religion, and culture ..but they all living in harmonious life...God bless mate...
@@thanglaka9543 yes,,,burmese add "pya' in the back of nan,,,,mean flat object,,,,the word nann is originated from india and it is part of any day snack in myanmar,,,,
Raw meat , A Popular restaurant and the mention of Tuborg Beer in the first minute and a half, I thought I accidentally got a King Epic video. Seriously, what I liked about this video ,is that it had me making comparisons to Thai markets and got me to thinking about some questions I now have about the culture in Myanmar. Really didn't expect that. I give this video 5 Rickshaws.
Lol - the raw meat comparison is pretty apt. I am pleased that the video got you thinking about Myanmar culture. It is an overlooked but interesting country. To me the Myanmar people seem like a proud traditional people but also a bit sad. Their political history has been tragic.
Hello Sargy, the best advice I can give regarding taxis before you arrive is to download the GRABtaxi app and buy a sim card in the airport after you arrive. With that app you can get a taxi anywhere in Yangon and you can easily select the destination.
well it wasnt in the middle of the street - it was on the pavement - assuming at the front of her house - as it is visible in your clip - so you have been to many cn-towns? never seen this before? well - funny on then! ; )

I was in Yangon city last Sept 2018. It is a good place to visit and relax. Your video is cleared and stable motion. Great video.
Thanks for the positive feedback.

Thank you for this very interesting walk. It's like a time machine. looks a bit like Cambodia some years ago and Thailand even further back in time.
Thanks for the comment Svein Arne.

It's easy to get to Yangon from Bangkok - just a 1 hour flight.
I'm amazed at the lack of any ice to cool those meats. Why don't they have problems with salmonella?
Wondering about salmonella...seems that the country have lots of opportunities I'm moving to Yangon soon. From Singapore to Myanmar.
nice to see you vlogging from Yangoon. Been there also. I will follow your new channel. cheers, steff
Thanks for the comment, Steff.

Very interesting. It's like a period piece. In a couple of decades, your video will probably be a time capsule of life in Myanmar in 2018.
Cheers Rob - I think you're right. 10 years from now this place will have developed a lot.
_this place is almost same as 6 decades ago. now has more UTEs and unhygienic meat sellers_

Where is Elena's mug?
Those vegetables and fruits seem like 100% chemical free.
most of the streets in Yangon city seem to be occupied by food vendors and blocked almost everywhere!

Myanmar is a lot cleaner than Laos or Cambodia ... wow... surprised me
Unrelated but do you recommend any English speaking taxi driver as I'll be visiting in March .Thanks ..Maybe you could do a vlog on them

nice video
Thank you for the comment.
HI! Mr.Olsen
very interesting ... that red SUV seems out of place
Thanks for the comment, Steve - yeah that SUV seems to have entered a different time period lol.
It will be more cleaner the streets if there are not being blocked by cars and vendors ...from philippines again :)))
I guess it contradicts local vibrancy
Striclt No vendors on the sidewalks should be strictly implemented ... it is good if the roads there are cleared of vendors :) from philippines

Can you tell us why many of the women have cream on their face?
It is called Thanaka and is worn by Burmese women mostly as a tradition but also to cool the skin and protect against sunburn

no need for making fun of ppl. worshipping their ancestors with this "firestarter"-audio...
I wasn't making fun of her beliefs - more the fact that someone was starting a fire in the middle of a public street.
