If you look closely, you can see that Nate (Dallas) is almost afraid of being in the waiting room. He looks at the woman on the phone, then at the doors and the security camera and finally at the police officer. He basically can't go out of his heister "persona" anymore and he doesn't feel safe to walk around in public like a normal person.

They simply keep going, especially since at the point Big Bank takes place story wise, the clowns have killed enough people and stolen enough to warrant death sentences in many countries, US being only one of them. 0 regrets on their part, for sure.

The live action cutscence are really under-rated. Sure the acting isn't S tier, but it's pretty good. Plus they are funny in some aspects, and contain some tension. Over all I like them!
Giancarlo Esposito is insanely good at portraying this double life criminal type of character :D I have to say, after all the fuckups recently, I am really looking forward to this again. Overkill really know how to hype us up.

Not to mention that this game is on sale on steam almost every 2-3 months, which drops the price from an already reasonable price down to about $10, not to mention with all the DLC. There are many other companies that grab tremendously more cash than Overkill.

Bain basically reincarnating into the president is infact Canon to the Payday story. Before the Dentist was killed by the payday gang and having bain and locke held hostage, the president went missing meaning the dentist had done something to the president, we just don't know what. That was one of many steps to fulfill the dentists plan of taking over the world. The dentist liked power and his plan was to swap bodies with the US President to and rule the entire United States. However to achieve this he needed to open the "Arc of the Watcher" which is that secret room in the white house where the gang is eventually wandered into. The Dentist was beaten to the room by the Payday Gang and the door was closed so the Dentist couldn't get in. He made the Payday gang open it by saying he has Bain and Locke held hostage at gunpoint. He threatened them saying if they don't let him in and use the gold from Overdrill (yes Overdrill is Canon) he would, of course, shoot and kill Locke and Bain. Payday Gang, obviously open the door before shooting the Dentist eventually killing him, saving Locke and Bain. After the Dentist has been killed, Bain is wheeled into the Arc Of The Watcher, Gang uses the "Mayan Gold" from Overdrill to activate it and a flash of light happens and thats all we really know. Bain was confirmed to be reincarnated into the president as in the credits of what happened to the Payday Gang after Payday 2 it is said "his final words will echo throughout the criminal world. I love the sound design in this. Dental procedures have a very specific feel in that regard, and I think all the little details - the plastic gloves, the metal dental tools, and even the distinct breathing sounds - really capture it
