I understand what she's saying about the rhythm being a pull... but I'd add that a huge reason more and more people want to homestead is because this world has gotten so evil. Many don't trust our food sources, water, or even neighbors, unfortunately.
I agree, it started in 2020 for me. I saw the world devolving away from church and into something else much more sinister. We moved in 2019 to 34 acres and I’m in the process of planting trees and building fences to block out the world. I feel like I’m Amish. 😂 That said I’m never going back to city life.
