I like how Jetstream Sam breaks the rules of which way the sword is supposed to be put in the sheath and putting it back in the sheath in the middle of combat by having a gun sword
Cheers for answering the question about cost boss, I didn't know there was THAT much variety in how they can be priced That and I still get a kick out of seeing my name on these things
I guess you could compare Ōdachis to the Zweihänders used in Europe to hack openings into enemy lines. They weren't really meant to be used as single combat weapons, but rather for specialized roles, not entirely unsimilar to how heavy machine guns or handheld launchers are used in the modern era.
It's like you never noticed the fight or at least the fight at the moment was over majority of the time in fiction. If I'm done fighting or one hit killed a guy or whatever, why would I keep my sword drawn?
I once saw a (German) documentary where a blacksmith compared the longsword to a katana. I remember correctly, the gist was that medieval blacksmiths were superior to Japanese ones because they had been doing it for centuries. He also preferred the longsword because it can destroy a katana without getting damaged much. Also, did you block me on Patreon to remove the 1$ tier?
Yes, temporarily, because it looked like they were still charging you even though you're not subscribed to any tier. We refunded the money, but none of us saw an option to remove a patron. So you should cancel it yourself to avoid being charged.

The Murasama's actually a tachi, so it's meant to be carried blade down.

Thank you for making this, A.G. :)
Great, now I'm gonna have to buy a katana
A house isn't a home without one.
