He's the first modern intellectual I cared about who actually served as the trunk for all other intellectuals I would study, from Richard Dawkins nearest him, to Noam Chomsky farthest away. Here, I find myself return, as is appropriate to go back to my roots, to see if there are things I can still learn that I may have forgotten or interpreted differently. Dawkins is 72. Chomsky is 84. Nanomedicine and immortality is two to three decades away.
