  • Bethesda's instanced Shelters are cool, but wouldn't you love a shelter you don't have to load into? Today we're putting together a realistic mid-century backyard fallout shelter, because we can!
Here's the link to the floor plan mentioned in the video:

This is absolutely amazing!! The most realistic and immersive shelter I’ve ever seen, my goal is to build this

This one's an absolute banger. Building this as soon as I find a Metal Building Set plan, because I haven't got any good walls that suit the bunker theme 😅 Great stuff, Kiki!

Thanks! The metal set is great for this - most durable walls in the game!

Another fun build! Also good technical names for the wire conduit parts... Sticky Uppie... Sticky Downie Bit, sounds legit heh. I've never built under the map before although i have a friend that has. He didn't realize how close he was to a nearby lake and now has a cool exit back to the surface. Jump off this platform and next thing you're swimming under the map and can breach to the surface.

I am nothing if not technical 😁 I came across a cool underground camp once that had a similar exit, it was really cool to jump off the side of the platform and swim around in invisible water!

the radroach is actually a reference to an episode of Monster Factory where they play fallout 4.
    classic stuff. highly recommend.

Kiki B: Everything a family needs to survive under ground.
Also Kiki B: I need to make a shelf for my candy bowl, and jars for frogs, and irradiated pickled brains.

I always struggle with powering my builds...I hate using wires and I've never gotten the hang of the conduits. But that's pretty smart having it under everything.
I actually made something like this in my shelter...the smallest utility one. Since it's literally a fallout shelter, I thought why not make it a real one. Mine is obviously smaller then your build since I have limited space but I was able to make the decom area, then a "prep" area where armor/guns are held...to prep for going out to scav, a living room, a kitchen, a small office/study, a bedroom and a bathroom. I made it so it's a single person/couple bunker since there wasn't room for a kid's bedroom and I didn't want to put the kids in with the parents. Plus it fits my character better lol.

@@kikibplays I'm on PC. Had to turn the volume way up. It could also be that everyone else's videos are super loud. Lol

@@SnakeDelgado haha that's entirely possible... I'm autistic and really sensitive to noise so my default mode is basically quiet af 😅 I find most videos loud, but when I'm watching stuff I either have to turn it way up or turn on subtitles because I hear everything at pretty much the same level!
