You should use the greenhouse walls to close up the gaps on the second and bottom floor. You'll still get the great view without the fear of falling😁. Absolutely beautiful camp!!
I have been meaning to learn more about camp glitches so I decided lets go, I'm going to build this . I managed to make it happen (The shell, at least) save for the post by the generator (I was probably in less of an optimal spot by chance) and it really got me zazzed to try some more crazy stuff.

Whipped this up under an Enclave theme. I like having multiple camps, one for each region, and besides the Angler and Mutant attacks this place couldn’t be a better spot for me in the Mire. Definitely cozy.

I'm astounded. What a wonderful idea! I'm not ashamed to say I thunk im going to steal the concept and maybe location and theme it to a free states survivalist build. I think one solid concrete block on the bottom floor, maybe next to the child's room in this build would be a very cool spot to put a shelter entryway, as though building into the land under the river or the land underneath, perfect for a secret mine settlement!
Steal away! I did a similar thing and put my mine entrance up against the rocks at the top of the dam.
@@kikibplays thanks! It's something I'm really excited about, I love my shelters, I made a 2 deep Mine shelter out if the vault enterence and the actual Mine shelters and u don't want ro lose them when I move. I'm so damn happy with them, all lore friendly and stuff :)

This is so cool, and I managed to pull it off. I was curious though, where do you have your camp module at? I watched your video on putting it in the right spot for people to spawn in the right place.
I have it up top, just to the left of the structure if you're facing front door
I've remade my main camp about 5 times. I can't help but only build in the Electric Tower behind silva farm, the double resource cliff south of foundation, and the Corner building in Charleston.
I'm just now hitting level 70 and still haven't built a FULL camp , now I was just circling the train area , I did spot just one mega sloth on a tree other than that the area lets me choose any spot, that house is 🔥 very creative

Something to try... I've swapped out the fusion generators on 2 camps. One is completely powered by a single future tech generator, the other has 1 future tech generator and 2 solar panels. The number of camp attacks went down significantly. In fact, the one with the single generator now spawns enemies that just meander around and normally don't attack anything. Also, both camps have large crop farms.
That's really interesting, I'll have to try that out!
@@kikibplays Not sure how effective this works if you're building on or near an enemy spawn point. Both of the camps I've tried this at are clear of spawn points.
No matter what I do I can not get the first foundation in place, is it meant to be fully back against the dam? How much space should be around it? What should I be lining it up against?
Can you go over the wiring/power next time? That is the hardest thing for me! Awesome build, Kiki!

I built this but not quite like hers but i now have to redo like 6 to 7 hours of build because I accidentally scraped a wall that was meant to be a wire. And now I’m unable to place the garage door even tho i got the wall placed back where i needed to be. And had to rip half of my camp apart to do so.
Love the build. Question, how did you connect a floor to the lower part of the top concrete foundation? I just cant get the floor to snap in, so the how upper build is wrong. I tried use another way but i was then unable to delete the floors 😅 🤔. ❤X

Another excellent build! I did learn a few things... i've been playing this game since the beginning and never knew about that dam heh. You'd think by now I'd have seen everything in this game but sometimes a slight alteration to your offroad adventures could have you stumbling upon something new.

Love the build. So cozy :) Any idea how you you get the fences to attach on the garage door level? Mine won't attach. Also, where did you get that Iron fence plan from?
Thanks! I think I turned snapping off to place the brick fences on the bottom level (at least for some pieces). The iron fence is Atomic Shop.

I know that this is a old video. But what did you do with the tires in the corner clipping through the foundation? What I did was try and build around them instead.
Funny thing, I actually still have this camp 😄 I was able to put floors 'over' them so they clip through the floor, and then I piled junk around them, which looks pretty good since I use that level as a sort of garage.

Nice build, saw a base before logging out then RUclips popped up with this tutorial. One question though, how do you set up the blueprint for the half beams on the rugs? I'm struggling here

I use a deathclaw egg or small statue for it these days, but the function is the same.

Love the video, i was able to replicate most of the build except for your brick walls and iron fences. I can't get my front door on though,,,,, any tips? Thx
I've noticed that doorways that don't have floors attached have been tricky lately. In this case, first try a different door (usually the basic wood with broken glass panes will work when others don't, and you can change it to another door after).
Second troubleshooting option is to remove and re-place the doorway wall - sometimes that's all it takes to allow a door to snap. I had the issue the other day when I was building some floating structures with no floors.
If that doesn't do the trick, remove the stairs coming down off the porch and either snap a foundation in that spot if you can, or build some stairs up from the floor below so that you can place an upper floor there. Then you should be able to snap your door in and remove whatever floor you used (hope that makes sense).

@@kikibplays little update, After lots of frustration and time i eventually restarted from the base foundations and as soon as the foundation was placed at the top of the dam i placed a second foundation where the stairs were and was able to place the walls facing out towards the porch and was finally able to snap a door into there. I don't think i'm ever going to build another camp again so I'm happy this is what ill be staying with. Thanks for the help!
I've been trying for an hour to try and get the foundation at the top of the stairs to snap to the third set of stairs but can't for the life of me. Has anything changed in game where this may not work anymore?
Nothing that I know of, but I'll try and play around with it when I have some time and see if I can figure it out.
Just built a version of this using your video as a guide. It's a stellar build!. Cant find out how to do the 2 small columns on the rug blueprint though :(
This video explains it, I've switched to a small statue which works better. Also, I've noticed that since a recent update, you need to break the statue with the flamer trap before you put the column on top of it.

I tried this and ended up messing up the alignment of the outside walls on the second floor. Don't know what I did wrong. If you're looking from the house near the bottom part. The left side was off and the right was to short. :/
How do you get the jail wall
They're Atomic Shop; you can wait for them to come around again, or try requesting them through a support ticket.
7:45 I can’t get the floors to delete even with the flamethrower magic ☹️
Make sure your other walls are all doorways, or it will be *those* preventing you removing the floors. If that doesn't do it, try putting in your roof first - oftentimes it will see the piece as supported by the roof (because it's all attached to other, supported walls) and then let you remove some floors.

How did you get rid of the tire pile on the bottom floor?
I didn't. I raised the foundation up a bit so some of it was covered, and piled stuff in around it when I was decorating.
@@kikibplays Ah cool, thanks. I had a camp there for a while but coming back to 76 after a few months off and trying to build something new, don't know all the weird bugs and tricks yet though.

@@kikibplays 2nd floor double walls for the little room you built them at 6:00 i scrapped on side on accident so now it has wallpaper on only one side

I love this so much and was immediately tempted to try a build at that location. But the super mutants will probably put me off. Annoying green idiots. :)
You only get one at a time up on that rock, and only every hour or two, so it's not bad at all. Just don't put any crops there... 😅
@@kikibplays OK I did it, and I LOVE IT. I liked it so much I built in the same spot with two different characters, one the "trashy" wasteland look and one nice all-log-cabin build. Seriously the best spot for a camp ever. I love how you can see the peaceful megasloths in the trees in the distance!
I'm so glad you liked it! The megasloths are probably my favorite part about this spot - that, and the view out over the water when you're down on the deck. The light in the Mire just makes everything glow so beautifully 🥰

Lol. I did this build yesterday in a matter of an hour or two. The only tricky part was initial placement of the first foundation so that everything lined up "perfect" for my OCD.
That part is always trial and error until you get it *just right* for your liking.
I spent 4X longer decorating than i did building.
Based on your comment it might be a you issue. 🤷♂️
