    Key things I forgot to mention:
    1. Jack says that red light primes your skin for UV. If you burn easily, sunbathe at 7-9am. The evening is also good. You'll get the best red light therapy possible.
    If you do get enough UV during your standard sunbathing session at noon, you can add a morning session for even more health. Again, it's impossible to get any issue except a heat stroke when the UV Index is low.
    2. Outside of getting a tan, so increasing your melanin levels, clothes are the best UV blocker.
    3. I'll add this since you might miss the text I added during the video: light doesn't just affect us but exiting our electrons. We have photoreceptors everywhere it seems. We have vitamin D receptors inside our gut lining, even though UVB from the sun doesn't reach down there. I learned this from my interview with Jack Kruse. Turns out bacteria emit a bunch of light, and that's why we have photoreceptors in our gut.

    Excellent video. I need some help. How can I get rid of freckles and moles on my face that appeared because of sun exposure?? I noticed that the days I spent hours under the sun it appeared. I’m afraid of getting more sunlight because I don’t want to get it worse.

    • @ExcellentHealth
      @ExcellentHealth  Месяц назад

      I don't necessarily think that you got these spots because of sun exposure. My guess is that you went out in high UV with completely unprepared skin and expected not to damage it. You need to see the sunrise. You also need red light from the sun without too much UV in the morning and in the afternoon to be able to handle UV. Lastly, put some form of animal fat on your skin.

    Thank you for covering this topic. The video answered a few of my questions but also made me have more.
    My previous questions which I am still unsure about after watching the video is what about scar tissue, is it bad to get sun on scar tissue? Also what about moles? I understand you said moles are parts of the skin that are screaming for the sun, however I have moles on areas that I regularly expose to the sun.
    My new questions:
    1. What are freckles? I have them on my nose and they become darker during the summer
    2. All my life I have tanned well as a white person even when my diet was just fast food. Whats that a sign of? I think I have reached my melanin limit as I sunbathe 30 mins a day between April to September and I can't go any darker.
    3. I live on the 52nd latitude. Is it unnatural for humans to live this far up? How do animals like the polar bear regulate their circadian rhythm? Can humans adjust to the variations of day length?
    4. Is it worth sunbathing on a sunny day in winter when at noon the UV is 1?
    5. Is it worth cloudbathing on a cloudy summer noon when apparently the UV is a 4? (Normally its a 7 in the summer noon) I am surprised the UV still goes through the clouds.
    6. Is it natural to nap during the day?

    • @ExcellentHealth
      @ExcellentHealth  6 месяцев назад +1

      1. I don't believe it is bad to get sunlight on scar tissue. It might even heal it.
      2. Some moles aren't related to the sun. They're related to to liver health, and some are more prone to them.
      3. Freckles are spots of concentrated melanin. Sunlight usually brings them about.
      4. I don't know at what UV you've sunbathed. 30 mins is not a lot.
      5. It's not unnatural for people to live at the higher latitudes, but you might want to consider your ancestry before living in the north. Polar bears regulate their circadian rhythm through light, just like humans. Humans are the most adaptive animal on the planet.
      6. If you can, yes.
      7. Yes
      8. It highly depends.

    • @selfupgradevlogs6335
      @selfupgradevlogs6335 6 месяцев назад

      @@ExcellentHealth thank you for taking your time to formulate a response to my questions.
      For number 4, I was sunbathing at UV ranges 5-7 for 30 minutes somewhere days when it was sunny.
      For 5. I have European ancestry so that helps. Does that mean people of African ancestry will struggle more with the variations of day lengths seen at the poles?
      For number 6, will there even be any Vitamin D with a sun altitude angle so low? My guess is you still see the benefits to the red light from the sun so winter sun can be worthit providing you don't get cold.
      For 8, what does it depend on?

    • @ExcellentHealth
      @ExcellentHealth  5 месяцев назад

      1. UV 5-7 for 30 minutes isn't a lot, but it's still great in terms of sun exposure.
      2. Everyone struggles with more day length variation, but nordic people probably have some adaptations for it yes.
      3. As long as there's UVB, there's vitamin D.
      4. It depends on what the body is allocating energy to. Are you tired because you're digesting food, dealing with mold toxicity, or dealing with sleep problems? Those are just some examples of why someone would need to nap during the day.

      No, it’s called melasma. More sun can only make it worse. Please start wearing sunscreen to prevent any further damage. But may be able to reverse them with tyrosinase inhibitors like arbutin, kojic acid and hydroquinone.

    Is it worth drinking raw milk if all the milk you find in your area comes from cows that are fed soy or leftover cotton seeds? These cows are raised by farmers, but they still feed them soy and cotton seeds. It seems like having my own goats will be the only option for getting good quality milk.

      If the soy and the cotton seeds are organic, it's fine. Otherwise, you're getting glyphosate.

    Would you disagree with Andrew Huberman who states that Sun is aging your skin? I am really not sure what to believe...

      As I say in the video, if the sun ages you, using your muscles also ages you.

      Get her into the sun. She's severely light deficient. I'm glad you're able to help her.

    Your conclusion that vitamin d supplementation is bad is very dumb. Because the studies you showed were only about People who took vitamin D alone, not with the other cofactors. Of course it will be bad if u take 10.000 ie vitamin d for years without enough k2 and other minerals
    Without k2, magnesium and enough calcium it doesn’t matter if its from a supplementation or from the sun it will not be good for your bone density.
    Show other studies but the part about the negative aspects of supplementation are really bad and not true, you just want to be right because you got a big ego and you can't reflect on yourself

      What you say is true. D3 doesn't work very well without K2 and magnesium. However, show me anything suggesting that the 20 000 - 40 000 IU a modern person (who's probably deficient in K2 and magnesium) gets from being at the beach or from sunbathing for 1-2 hours leads to worse bone density outcomes.
      Further, the two studies aren't necessarily the greatest proof of not taking supplemental D3. They're important to mention, but the real deal is Dr. Jack Kruse's Time #11 - jackkruse.com/time-10-can-you-supplement-sunlight/ which I reference in the video.
      "Vitamin D3 is just the chemical signal made after unpolarized light is captured by our skin and in the pill form. It does not have the power of the sun’s light or photons. Taking supplemental vitamin D3 is like trying to hire someone else to do your push-ups for you." -- Dr. Jack Kruse
      This is my main argument against supplemental D3 in the video. I also talk about this with Jack Kruse in my second interview with him.
