- DA leader John Steenhuisen seized the opportunity and asked the president if he thought the Independent Directorate’s raid as on National Assembly speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula’s home on Tuesday was a serious matter and whether the speaker should “step aside” to protect the integrity of parliament and its envisaged role in fighting corruption.But Steenhuisen’s question was ruled out of order and unrelated to the original question.

The best party for the RSA conditions. What does raiding mean if those who raided do not present a warrant of arrest that states the charge based on proper investigation and evidence. Not a string of allegation. The last I heard RSA is no longer an apartheid state when people were simply locked away for walking on a wrong street. Or locked away for a knock at 2am in the morning for failure to produce a permit for sleeping over at your grandma's place. Some of the questions are just grandstanding and some of us are not impressed.
