@@EdwinWatson the first thing you need to know is that it is impossible to reach a level that high up in the ANC without being extremely corrupt. There are people behind the scenes that pull the strings and make sure the people who get into power do it their way. As soon as they have one politician do something corrupt then they have caught them like a fish and will blackmail them if they ever come after them for being corrupt
But you can't get up crying about someone telling you to "shut up", and then say that person needs to toughen up

If he knew anything about economics and actually cared for the poor people, as he said, then he wouldn’t implement minimum wage. Minimum wage has historically made things worse for the poor, and the countries he listed prove the point. All politicians, please work to create jobs instead of social engineering society, if you actually want to increase salaries. The only way salaries improve for all is when there are more jobs then workers, supply and demand. All minimum wage does is reduce the size of the work force in each company. Maybe those with jobs get better salaries, but less will have jobs. Businesses work for profit, nothing else. They’ll just work less people harder to spend the same amount. It may get you votes ANC, but nothing else. Basics, no wonder we are failing.

Whether one does not like the lilly white & seemingly fronted DA, the President's use of "shut up" and visible anger/ irritation was unbecoming. That was a sign of weakness, and to further justify, accuse and use words like "please be quiet" (when I talk) is demeaning/ patronising.
This moment was the first sign of a sensitive/ temper side to our president.

I am not ANC, but I support the President here (I dont think there is someone else that can do a better job for this country), but for Steenhuisen to interrupt the President or anyone else, is plain rude and bad-mannered. That is the EFF way of doing things or get heard. Civilized people wait for a chance to speak.
