That's not a car that's a masterpiece 👌
It's a beautiful piece indeed, No doubt being financially free and not having to worry much about luxury habits and other expenses cannot be overemphasized.
I'll have to be financially stable in every sense before purchasing my first supercar. The best thing to do with your money is to invest rightly because that's the only way to build wealth enough to own one of these
The best advice that i learned from Manny Koshbin is don't buy a Super or Hyper car until you have 10 times the price of it in your Bank account, when you purchase a Super car you add a car to your garage but u add also maintenance and unexpected damages that can happen in future
I understand Manny advice but that's overkill. If most people did that - they would never own one. The 10-15% rule is enough - especially if you make even more with multiple streams of income. My investment properties pay for my exotics cars. It's many different things you can do to afford easily and responsibly. You don't need a million cash to afford a cheap 100k car, My first exotic was 100k put down 20k- financed 80k. Then traded up to more expensive cars.
Now I have an Aventador, so it's not hard at all, Especially if you are making 20-25k plus a month with little to no debt with multiple streams and assets that produce income.
Investing in multiple diversified streams of income is key
In my opinion, the most beautiful car in the world.
The Perfect Sunday. Love this thing.
First of all, this video can cure any sort of anxiety. Second of all, the 300SL design is post-war perfection and will never be eclipsed. Third, the gentleman perfectly vibes with the vehicle; they were meant to be!
Love this comment!
They were indeed meant to be!
In the mid 80s a guy in our town had one. He had it parked in his carport. It was under a tarp. He would bring it out in the spring and summer and boot around town in it. We all knew it was the coolest car anytime we saw it. When the tarp came off we would always stop out front his house when we were riding by on our bikes. One day he moved away and so did the car. I still think about that car. It wasnt in the best shape. But it was beautiful. I wonder where it is now. This was in Richmond, BC. A suburb of Vancouver, Canada. Everyone has their idea of what the most beautiful car is. Once you see one in front of you, you know that it is the most beautiful car ever designed.
My Father bought a wrecked 300SL Gullwing when I was a boy. I spent 5 years helping him restore it. It was bullet proof and it was his daily driver for 7 years. One of the most fun things was letting the fuel get low and then telling the gas station attendant to fill it up. It had the "small" 34 gallon tank. Every time the attendant would be looking underneath the car to see if the gas was leaking out somewhere.
Funny, I have a 2011 AMG SLS (the "new" Gullwing) - and what this gentleman says holds true for the new version. The new one has AC, but it is still hot inside in the car. It hates going 0 to 20 mph. But then it purrs like a kitten once above 80 mph.
It's like driving a pieace of art. Just stunning.
Trying to decide if the intro took 5-6 takes or if you had that many cameras hidden somehow. Absolutely insane
Shot with 1 camera done on multiple takes. 👌🏽
that's a masterpiece
Simply the best car ever made. Many many years ahead of it’s time.
This is, and continues to be, my favorite video on the internet.
My favorite car design ever. After the 300SLR
Perfect Sunday..Perfect Classic, Car..
Art!
The fastidiousness of the owner deserves praise. That interior is sublime. Matching driving gloves with the leather of the interior (just like his Singer) spot on.
ironically this guy has a singer Porsche as well, and has a video by singer about his Porsche. Similar style video
And not just any Singer but a DLS
my favorite car of all time. I got to see a couple of these at the mille miglia and they were being used like daily drivers. They also were parked overnight on the street outside Villa Medici at the top of the spanish steps in Rome.... breathtaking just to sit and look at those machines.
What a moment that must have been!!
i love vintage car like this...❤❤❤
I always like to “ Take out one of my older cars “ on Sundays. 😂😂
this is not just a vehicle, its a ART MACHINE
its a fkin car m8
I don't imagine there are many people who have ridden in one of these, but I am one of them. Thanks to the generosity of a man named John, ( I will not provide his last name), but you know who you are if you are reading this; you came out to May's shop as you did on a regular basis, and offered to give me a ride in your Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. I will never forget that ride, and I still have the model of the car you gave me,...still unbuilt. Thanks, John!
The Automobile is all about freedom. The mood in the video captures it perfectly
If only life was that rewarding.. my own limitations prevent me from achieving that lifestyle most of us yearn for. Never give up hope though. Great car.
What a perfectly smooth video. Loved it! Thanks for bringing us along for a ride in the 300SL 🙌🏼
What a gorgeous car! It is a piece of art!
I love everything about this. The breathtaking restoration of the 300 SL (was that interior stunning or what?) the beautiful Canadian scenery. The smooth jazz in the background. And most of all the kindness and openness of the owner, willing to share his joy with us. He’s obviously unspeakably wealthy, yet he seems warm and friendly, the kind of guy you could meet randomly and have a cup of coffee with. Simply brilliant.
Genuinely appreciated… 🤛🏼
My personal favorite cars of all time, in no particular order, would be: Bugatti Aerolithe, Mercedes Benz 300SL, Aston Martin DB5, Ferrari 250 SWB, Jaguar E-Type -
i am humbled and fortunate to own one of them.
Just the sound of the engine gets me instantly. 💖
Kudos for keeping the vehicle in such meticulous condition -- that itself is not an easy task. Well done overall.
Probably my favorite car in history. I used to have a toy version of it as a kid, and I cherished that thing. I think my grandma or one of my aunts on my dad side gave it to me when I was like 6 or 7. It's a masterpieace.
When I was 7 or 8, my dad visited the States and when he returned he gave me a 300SL car model. It's a really delicate one, tires turns with the steering wheel, the gull wing doors work just the same way as the video shows, the perfect engine bay interlaced with white/silver colored components.
I didn't know the brand and did not know the legend of this vehicle but it was a treasure for me as a very special gift from my dad.
👌🏼
What a beautiful piece of art, and my favorite of the cars !! thanks for this video !
Dude/Bro has a 300SL?! Straight class! As cool as cool gets! Excellent jazz background music! Absolutely perfect! Well done!
and also a porsche singer. he has immaculate taste in cars
Oh my goodness. That is stunning!
Just the most beautifully shot and narrated video...bravo!
Thanks for the sharing of video. It’s so elegant and beautiful. What a wonderful car and life!
Not only a perfect Sunday, also a perfect 300 SL.... amazing!
This RUclips channel is so underrated
Absolutely stunning production. Don't get me started about the car ... 😍 It's channels like these that cut through the mainstream and bring us those five minutes of joy. Keep up the work!
And great music accompanied!
WHAT A MACHINE!!
Love the livery, side pipes, and the bumpers delete. Exactly what I'd do if I had (could afford) one of these! Thanks!
Pure elegance.
glad to see that my dream today is someone reality today ,someday i will be on the seat and share my dream with others
That tone coming through the muffler 😍
Wow!!! Back in the days when cars had personality and soul. Absolutly beautiful looking car ❤
Tastefully done with class.
The best looking car in human history
Wow, just wow! The video is absolutely beautiful. The car is a stunner. With Mercedes the Germans gave the world something Divine.
What an amazing video, it's an art piece in itself.
Perfection in every way
Top cinematography. 💯
A beauty from the time when designers still used their heads and not just any computers.
Stunning ❤
this car is a piece of art. incredible.
Beautiful video! I watched this on a Monday morning, but it sure gave me Sunday vibes. A masterpiece of a car, a very likeable owner, smooth music: Thanks for a little break of almost six minutes, and I am waiting for the next video.
One of the most beautiful cars ever built
Beautifully shot, but arguably the best sounding car ever made and we didn’t get to hear it sing!! Maybe you could upload an unplugged version for us so we can appreciate that straight six on-song through the gears?
The direct 180 degree rear view of that car is as beautiful as any other angle if not more so.
In about 1963 I visited my cousins in Arcadia CA and their next door neighbor had a Gull Wing Mercedes, it made quite an impression on me and I have not seen one since! What a car!,
They are genuinely awe inspiring. Never gets old, looking upon this car.
I love Apple Music lossless quality.
Masterpiece of a car, my favourite, masterpiece of a video with great music and production values. Thank you!
When it was idling the sub title said [music] which is the most accurate fucking think I've seen
😂 spot on
Mercedes did win the Mille Miglia with the W198 R a roadster racer with the Formula One straight eight 3 Liter engine and 290 bhp. Stirling Moss did it in 1955.
There is still one Mercedes works driver alive Hans Herrmann he did first runner up because of problems with the brake or steering. He has turned 95 years this year.
The Mille Miglia is about thousand Miles or let’s say between 1.480 and 1.660 Kilometers.
The normal 300 SL was equipped with fine tuned version of the aluminium 3,0 liter inline six derived from 300 Limousine from 1951
Originally 1 single carburetor 115 bhp, for the 300 S Roadster with 3 carburetors 150 bhp in. 1952 .
The competition version in 1952 with 3 double carbs and 178 bhp winner at LeMans and Panamericana.
For 1953 a conversion to direct injection and desmodromic valve timing enhanced to 215 bhp. But this car was never used as works racer..
Why don't they design cars to look like THAT now? So beautiful
such an exquisite car that deserves a like👍
One of the most beautifully composed videos I've seen in a while. Well done!
in a time where the cars were beautiful 😍❤👏
The production quality of this channel is on top!
WOW! Such a car this is
A client of mine had one these - he kept it in a specially ventilated garage with low UV strip lights etc. He needed a bulb changed so called the firm that had these bulbs - they said they would fit it. He asked if he should move the car out - they said No we can reach it OK. He had to take a phone call in his house. Came out to see the bulb had been changed & noticed footprints on the bonnet of the Gullwing!! Yeah they reached the bulb easily!
😮😮😮
Simply stunning !! So far ahead of it's time.
Totally!
A peace of art
Absolutely classy car
The 300 SL coupe is specifically the car that best shows off its beautiful front and round rear without bumpers.
Absolute work of art, great video.
Top notch production. just mesmerising. wow!
The only time I saw one on the road was the night after the Loma Prieta earthquake at 5:02 pm. Later that night I saw a Gullwing, a 427SC Cobra, and a Testarosa. The rich guys were just happy to be alive and they were taking their prize possessions for a ride.
Wow. Wild!
Filmed in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. And ‘Mille Miglia’ just says it: Mille=1000; miglia=mile.
What a masterpiece of a Car😍Also Great Soothing Video Making. Love from India❤
What a great film
Great video. And for those looking, My Night with You (Jazz Version) by Wesly Thomas.
Thanks for the music title and artist
Really enjoyed that, thank you!
I love the bumper delete and the sidepipes.
A magnificently beautiful car
Incredible! Great video ❤
Great video, and those glasses are really quite on on point !
Very soothing video, no ups n down! well done..
This guy should have no enemies
Why today cars design don't look nice and impressive like in the past 😢
Today the manufacturers just look at profits, functionality and planned obsolescence. The nice look is just an afterthought…
Both the car and the video is a masterpiece!
I am not a fan of old cars, but how it shot! Great work cinemaphotographer!
The perfect machine!
Well maintained piece of Love ❤
Very good music choice, the video is so smooth. Keep up the good work, well done Project1.
a true piece of art and engineering marvel... They guy is really lucky to own this. Nice to see how he enjoys it and drives around instead of hiding it away in a Garage / Collection. I also own a classic and use it on a regular base, always meet people at Gas stations, Grocerystores who love to get to know more about it. Classics need to be driven!
OMG This video is so beautiful !!!!
Beautiful film
beautiful video!!!
Beautiful video!
What a beautiful beauty
