As much as I'm looking forward to seeing Ed get the Golden Nugget and Rokon, I REALLY can't wait to see this truck rebuilt and presented to Aiden and the family!!! Robby and crew...you're phenomeall people!! ❤️❤️
You have spoken the truth, these people go above and beyond what you would think, and they do it with so much talent. But the most amazing thing is all of them are so darn humble. 🇺🇸
Honestly between the three channels taking so long, I already lost interest in the Golden Nugget and Rokon. I like Robby but I’m not as interested in paint and body as I am with the fabrication so I wasn’t sure I would find much interest in his channel going forward, but now I sure do have something to be interested in.
Same here
You said it!
What a great group of people.
She’s all done now
"I'm not cryin, you're cryin"
Seriously though. You and your team Robbie have such huge hearts and have inspied me to do something for my community.
God bless you all!
I was going to say the same thing! LOVE LOVE LOVE these guys, the team, everyone. Huge hearts of gold.
Same same
This was tough to watch, especially when Hillbilly was trying to open the hood, he always has some humor to help his gorilla strength.
U can send me a emt $
Seriously, i was tearing up by 30 seconds into Robby explaining the story.
its just sand , bro, were in the desert.. yeah, sand.
Robby you just made a 73 year old man cry, God Bless you and your family and crew. Thank you for all you do.
Ditto for 68 YO
61 here. I lost my Dad two years ago and it still stings like the Dickens. Losing your Dad at 16 is crushing.
Mr Glandon, Your're not the only old man crying. This young man reminds me of the America I grew up in
52 year old man with tears in his eyes as well. Thanks for all you do Robby. On my way to get some merch and donate to the family.
And a 55 yo man.
Here’s the thing… even if this was “just for views”. This is the kind of thing I want to see more influencers doing. RL is setting a great example for the world.
agreed. he did a great thing regardless of motivation
You Mr Layton are a good man.
How the hell that kid held back his tears is beyond me cuz I couldn’t
Shock
I know, I would have been a total mess. 😓
@@munchywizard8380 was going to say same thing...it still hasn't fully hit him, so sad....Robby and the community gonna spread some love though....
@@jfk64kennedy95 It won't fix a missing parent. But it'll definitely help his healing I think.
Robby you sir are amazing. Wish this world had more people like you and your crew
The only way I can see them repairing the truck is to buy a truck with a blown engine and get to work.
@@TunTavernWarrior2 Obviously you haven't seen the work this shop does
I put my money on Robby and his crew !
@@TunTavernWarrior2 As long as the frame is not to messed up everything else can be done. Like Robby said he has a bed and a body for the truck already. The engine runs might need to be rebuilt but so what. It looks worse than it really once you get passed the body damage it should be good.
You all are earthbound Angel 's... This video brought out the water works for me this morning....
What GORGEOUS folks you are.... you had a fan with your huge restorations for sir Ed... But this - this has earned you a fan-mily for life....♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Please don't stop producing your videos...
@@trueheartfarm8831 Yup me too , am a grown man and i felt a tear run down my cheek
Seems like a good kid! Did you think about offering him an internship? Could be a good thing to cling on with great leadership! Glad you are doing this for him..
I feel his pain, lost my dad at 14. You are stand up guy’s for doing this! Please try to have him involved with the build. It will help with healing.
I think if they had him working on the truck, there could be a huge liability issue if he got hurt, I wouldn't want to work looking over my shoulder all the time. I get what you're saying though, maybe detailing or cleaning or something like that would be ok. I think the revile at the end would be better if was a surprise. Although he will likely follow it online.
@Bruce Augustine nah.. liability shmiability.. the world needs more Robby Laytons and a great way to achieve that is to allow him to mentor the youth. I say let both son and daughter be involved, if they so choose, even if it takes years to complete.
Vocational schooling is becoming extinct lately and kids need more hands on education IMO.
I couldn't imagine being a teenager today, let alone a teenager without a dad.
@@raywrae Robby said he would have it ready for the start of school.
The sadness on that kids face was heartbreaking. It was great that you could get a couple of hopeful smiles out of him.
As a guy who lost his Dad as a teenager, we (My Dad) had a square body that was supposed to be mine, it was the truck that we did literally everything fun in, whether it was boating, camping, fishing, or going for firewood.. best memories ever!, and the fact you are doing this for this you man speaks volumes about what kind of person you are!
Thought Hill Billy was going to rip the whole front off the truck. He really puts himself into the work. Love what you guys are doing for the family.
Hillbilly is one hell of a fella, that's for sure.
I thought hill billy was gonna have his hand ripped off.
I think getting him involved in the rebuilding would help him in many ways 👍 many blessings to you and your team..
Robby this video brought tears to my eyes watching him look around of what’s left from his dads truck. A lot of sentimental value… you guys are freaking awesome doing this for him and not charging them for it, totally amazing. You guys are blessed and nothing but good energy coming your way. Keep up the good work and amazing content. You guys have a great heart and not too many folks like you guys left in this world. Seriously amazing.
The emotion was audible in Robby’s voice. Terrible situation. Happy Robby and the community come together to help
This video hit a little too close to home for me. I too lost my dad to a heart attack just before my 16th birthday. I’m 51 years old now and it was so hard to not just break down crying myself. As others have stated in the comments below, Robby and crew earned my respect long ago, but this just goes to show how big of hearts these crews all have (Robby, Matt, Paul, Chad and Rory). Thank you Robby for giving back to this family. Knowing how you roll, we all know it’s not going to be rebuilt “exactly” like it was before. We all look forward to the rebuild. Thank you for donating all this time and effort for this family.
Robby, you're a good guy and you earned my respect long ago. You call out and we're here buddy. Just bought two t-shirts and donated to the gofundme. I mean, is this the Robby Layton Nation or what!
Amen Brother 🙏
It ain't 'or what'!..... #RobbyLaytonNation
Losing a Dad at any young age, especially your teens when you need him most is hard. I understand more than ever. Prayers for the family!
That young man might want time working on the truck with you. That would make the experience of the build even more fulfilling for him in the long run.
Dude. Just...dude. Keep being the kinda people you are, it's nice to see folks like you out there who are willing to help as much as you all. I think I need a new hat now.
The generosity of people is awe inspiring!
Originally I thought I'd just follow along with the golden nugget content but I've been consistently amazed at the other stuff, and this is the icing on the cake, what an outstanding gesture.
Yes the whole team is wholesome when I watched the first golden Nugget video I thought that be it but after so many months I'm addicted to the dad jokes and the funny bits and good wholesome characters
That is one magnificent gesture…..well done Robby and team.
When I clicked on the gofundme it was at $950, by the time I was finished my donation it had risen to $1920! You have great viewers! My condolences to the family. I lost my mom when I was young I understand the loss they are going through. He would make a great kid to mentor Robby.. He will need a good strong male role model in his life..
It's now over $11k and rising.
$13,335 from 411 donations, as of 10:30 eastern and yeah .. I'm crying too . . .
@@fourutubez7294 This video and the response of the viewers shows a lot about the character of Robby, his crew and the viewers. I like watching Robby's videos, not just for restorations, but to see good hearted people at work. What he is doing for the young man and his family is amazing. The viewers who have made donations to the go fund me, or bought merchandise from Robby, are making a huge difference in this family's future. As of 10:31am eastern time, the amount raised is almost 14,000. I hope it keeps growing.
I really hope it gets over $100K. Those med evacs alone are costly.
@@Happilee97 yeah my dad was flown out once and the helicopter ride alone was $18k..
Fixing up the truck is probably the nicest thing you guys could do for them. It's a terrible situation that can't be undone so it's really awesome that you are going to give them something with meaning. Seeing Aiden smile when the truck started was the best part of the video, I couldn't help but slime too. :) Looking forward to another great build.
Man what a very kind thing your doing .
I can’t stress enough how fantastic you and your crew are. I lost my dad due to an accident at age 6, and the son in your video reminds me of myself around his age. Brought tears to my eyes. Speechless at your generosity.
I know exactly how this young man is feeling right now. I lost my dad at the exact same age he did. My dad passed also from a heart attack but had no car wreck. I got his Honda Accord but it got stolen 2 weeks later. It was a very long time ago but that still hurts like it was yesterday. I know EXACTLY what it means for him to get that truck back; it's the last connection to his dad. You're awsome for helping that kid out. I wish the police recovered my dad's car even if it was in pieces I would've rebuilt it no matter what the cost was. This story ruined my day and renewed my faith in humanity. Thank you for what you're doing for that young man.
I feel this young mans pain. I lost my uncle in a very similar way. Few days after an accident he had a stroke and we lost him. This one hits home. Glad you guys are helping with everything you can. Shows how AWESOME of people you are and it shows people do care. Hoping for things to go smooth for the rebuild and the son can enjoy his fathers truck for Years and Years to come!
Well done you guys. Robbie, you, your family and crew are the best humankind can offer in this world! We will be getting some shirts and a hat to help out. ( And anything else we can do.) Healing prayers for that family. Thanks for everything you do! 🤠🧑🦰🌲🌲 🎼
Been there, done that. Lost my Dad @ 13 yrs of age to a car wreck....its a long haul, but some 65 years later....I still have some awesome memories of him.
Damn buddy, you got one big ass heart of gold, Robby. My father recently had a bad fall and my wife and I have decided come home and help them take care of their property. You really never know when it's all going to be over. So spend the time with the ones you love and help out others when you can. Really sorry for losing your dad little buddy. I hope your family can get the help they need. You're def in great hands with the Layton Nation Family.
Robby, what you are doing for this young man is exceptional. Like others said, this world needs more people like you. Hats off to you, your team, and your family.
THIS was a very emotional video! Robby, You too have such a heart to be doing this for His Son brought a tear in My eye. Condolences go to the Family.
May God reward Robby for his kindness
This was a heart ❤ breaking video. Made me cry, so proud of what you are doing for his son& family 👪 I believe his father would of approved/ liked it this way, thank you for doing this . Not to many people would do this& for nothing, I applaud 👏 you

My deepest condolences young fellow. I am sorry for your loss. No truck will replace the father you had although it is a heartfelt gesture from Robby and the team. A very fine one. I lost my father also , which most men have a very special bond with.
I hope God bless you and your family. With your father watching over you there may be some divine intervention in your quiet pensive moments to guide you along your path in life ? From New Zealand.

Wow, what a heartbreaking story. The love of your community is really touching. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you Robby Layton for being a great human , we need more people like you in our world . Prayers for the family during this hard time
I lost my dad last October so this video hit home with me, I gave what I could to the gofundme, I hope we can make a difference in this families struggle
Aiden my heart goes out to you. My dad passed away doing farm work a couple of years ago and and I were besties. I can’t imagine your level of pain. I will say I am grateful for the community Robby has started and the ability to bless you Aiden.
We need more Robbys in the world, you are a angel for this family.
Sending thoughts of comfort to Aiden, his mom and sister. Such a tough time for them, but Robby and his team are so kind and generous. You could see the hurt and sorrow in Robby's eyes. What a generous heart!
Damn I just teared up seeing the gofund me hit 10,000 since this video was uploaded an hour ago. Glad to see good people still out there.
That's a realy great thing you are going to do for this young guy and his family. I'm proud to be one of your subscriber. Congratulations from an old french man.

@@dr.floridaman4805 Just saw data out today that ten million Americans are waiting to see a cardiologist, first time patient data. Crimes against humanity. Life insurance executives are also freaking out because deaths of 18-49 year olds are up 40% from 2020. This has never happened in the history of insurance. A 5% rise would be noteworthy, 10% is statistically impossible without outside factors like a war. 40% is catastrophic and many of them are young healthy people who are dying suddenly. Not a word of it in the media either. So sad.

heart attacks happened pre covid vaccines.
Covid can lead to heart attacks.
Billions of covid vaccines have been given now, heart attack rates are not up noticably.
Peoples lifestyle choices during lockdowns - vegging out in bed, not exercising etc are also causes of heart attacks.
My heart goes out to this family. My brother passed due to a single vehicle accident, his 2 children were much younger at the time. Count me in to support this family, I pray they feel peace and comfort. I felt the original video was inappropriate because of my experience with my brother's vehicle. Though I have them, I still have not opened a envelope of photos of his Jeep after the wreck. I don't want to see them. Robby I'm thankful this experience is able to help them and be used for good. You have a good heart, thank you.
Thanks Robby.
Sent the family some funds.
Glad to all the others kicking support as well.
Rebuild it and gift it to him. My condolences to the family, just for the fact the truck still runs.. we will support your channel Robby. You’re a true hero without a cape 👍🏾
