Dream theater is another one of my favorite bands. To now know that they had plans to work together breaks my heart. The feel that everyone would have felt would have created music that is so enveloped with technical strategy, yet so simple that we all hear the same thing. Yet still layers upon layers of talent. I will dream tonight wondering how that would have gone. The meeting and interactions. To the feeling of the music they all would have felt. Such a loss. Gone much too soon.
R.I.P Criss, Forever known through us.

Based on the bands touring lineup (John Zahner was touring with them after streets came out), I can pretty safely say it was the show in 1992. There is real, decent footage of Yngwie playing his set which means that there probably was, at some point, footage of Savatage's set. But if we consider the story to be true and Criss did play as well or better than Yngwie then Yngwie surely would not let that footage see the light of day. Too much ego.
