  • In this video I show you how to conduct the Independent Samples T-test in SPSS. The Independent Samples T-Test is a Parametric test used to measure the mean difference between two groups.
    To an independent samples T-test in SPSS, you will have two variables. One of those variables will be nominal, and will only have two groups. The other variable will be continuous (interval or ratio), and will be the variable where you are calculating the mean for each of the nominal groups.
    The T-test will then allow you to conclude whether or not the mean difference between the two groups is significant.
