SPSSisFun: Independent Samples T-test
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.7 лет назад
In this video I show you how to conduct the Independent Samples T-test in SPSS. The Independent Samples T-Test is a Parametric test used to measure the mean difference between two groups. To an independent samples T-test in SPSS, you will have two variables. One of those variables will be nominal, and will only have two groups. The other variable will be continuous (interval or ratio), and will...
SPSSisFun: The T-test (One Sample)
Просмотров 1427 лет назад
In this video I show you how to conduct the One Sample T-Test through both pen & paper method as well as in SPSS. If learning the pen and paper method, follow the steps outlined in the video. If new to the T-Test, make sure you know how to calculate the variance and estimated standard error. The formula I use for the T-statistic in the video combines those steps into one, and is not recommended...

SPSSisFun: How to reverse (recode) an Ordinal Scale
What do I do if I want to recode multiple variables? For example if there's 10 questions with 3 options(high, medium, low), how do I recode them to 3, 2, 1 all at once?
❤❤❤
This was very helpful, now I can run reports and make graphs with my categorical data. I have a question though: When I make a histogram or other chart, how do I show the value labels? With 20 or more values and only seeing the number and not an actual name it's difficult to interpret. Hope you see this, thanks.
Thanks
Love your vibe!
How do you make a sum score but keep the likert scale?
You are seriously a life saver my friend, I was going nuts trying to figure this out. THANK YOU
after 7 years and here I am. this video really helps me a lot. Thanks for your good explenation.
😂😂😂 Perfect
thank you very much sir it’s really helpful
Thank you for being a lifesaver 🙏🙏🙏
"AUTO - MAT - IC RE - CODE"
Thank you for your video!! It was very helpful! I do have a query... When I imported the first answers from xls it came as a string (text) and I created different variables and applied all values. I have imported more data from another xls spreadsheet and I do have to turn it all again in numerical values. How can apply my values to the new string data without double-clicking when on reply??? It's driving me mental....
Why the method no.3 not working on me
please reply: is it same for the one dependent and 7 independent variables to run PPMC test?
Wow, you sir are amazing!
Thanks, may i have your e mail? I need help with my data
Thank you very much! Well explained throughout with each step.
Great vid, thanks!
Great presentation!
Dear Sir, This is S. Joseph from Chennai - India, Your video helped me, but I still have a doubt, in your video I could not find Crude Odds Ratio (COR) and Adjusted Odds Ratio (AOR). So, help me to understand. If the Exp(B) is AOR, where should I find the COR So, kindly help me underrated COR & AOR, With Regards…. 🙏
You are not considering the assumptions of the LR. I think, checking assumptions prior to analysis would help people understand more clearly.
Thanks a lot. Mine has worked. I didn't notice earlier because it was a really large spreadsheet
My binary regression analysis did not come up with the last table of case with list b. What could be the problem?
This video is a blessing to me. I was having serious issues with my project work and was almost giving up but watching your video has solved the issue, I tried what I learnt from your video and it worked immediately. I'm so grateful to have come across your page. Thank you so much for helping me.
Thanks for your good explenatiom. i have a q. as in your video, the categorical variable ( i.e, education here) had 4 values but in the result the regression gave us 3 variable. what should we do about the last missed value?
Thanks Sir
it is recommended after 5 years; but you are a successor man
What app did you use sir?
SPSS - IBM analytical - you, or your educational institution have to pay for it-. However there are other diffferent free versions- in Linux/ Ubuntu... cant remember the name but you may want to have a look. They are not the same and the interface is different though, but it may do the the job. You may also want to check the way to download SPSS for free in Torrents or something like that. Haven't tried myself. Good luck
hello sir, sir how do we do mediation analysis in logistic analysis, please make one video on this topic
Thank u
Only God knows how much I was frustrated. imagine I was thinking of editing the excel spreadsheet data and then making SPSS entry again from scratch. God bless you, bro. I was even ready to pay for this wallahi. Some RUclipsrs are really life and energy saving.
thank you, thank you and thank you.
how we can get editable graph in word from spss
Hi I don’t understand the last formula perhaps you could explain it to me?
Where you find the r2?
Thanks very much for this very informative video. It was short and straight to the point. Thanks again
Thanks for this!
Thanks man, this was helpful
Thank you!
Thank you
sir in my case block 2 is not coming in output what is the reason?
What will be the x1 and x2, can u explain
i have a question. after we change the variable do we need to delete the old variable?
OMG I hope I already found this video when I was making my last project on university 😭.
Thank you so much!! Been looking for this step all over the internet.
Nice video. I subscribed as a support.
You saved me too! I have more questions, though. For instance, do I now change the "measure" from nominal to ordinal? Another, how do I set up matrix survey question data with multi-q and multi-answer? It keeps running stats on each separate variable and I want to look at them together... Thanks.
Did you ever get the answer? I need it
Thank you for this!
i like it
Thank you for this. What to do if I have to compare 3 subject groups: one subject group who initiated treatment after visit 1, one subject group always under treatment, and one treatment-naive group?
For this you will need to conduct an ANOVA analysis which allows for comparing multiple groups.
