I love my combi and use it everyday. Today I’m cooking a hummingbird cake in it.
Next time, put parchment paper circles in the cake pans before pouring in the batter. This will prevent cake sticking to the pans
In love with my Combi !
I just bought it. I already have a steam oven, but just couldn’t resist.
I like your cake in your Ninja Combi Cooker. I'm considering of buying one.
I love it!
Can this bake a 10-inch pan pizza? I love what this oven can do but it doesn't look as if it can bake a good bar-style pan pizza. I would need 450°F for this.
I have one and i love it
I think I’d just do the cake in a regular oven. There isn’t many pans available other than the ones that the Combi comes with. Would be nice if it was easier to use alternate cooking pans in the Combi.
Cannot wait to get one
I tried cooking 2 ribeye steaks from frozen using the Combi Crisp. I didn't care for them cooked from frozen, they weren't tender at all and kind of bland given you can't really tenderize or season them prior to cooking. I typically season the steaks and let them come to room temperature before cooking, which serves me best.
This is similar to using a convection oven. The steam is what keeps your cale so moist. You arent really trying to save time her your are using the steam to add moisture to your baked goods.
I’ very excited to get my combo, but I don’t think I would use this for 2 pans. 20 for each pan plus heat up time takes more time than just throwing them both in the conventional oven.
This appliance or the new Ninja Double Oven with flex door? Any thoughts?
I’m so for this and anything if I don’t have to turn on the big oven. 😊
It's so good!
Do you have to use water to bake a cake if you just use the pan that came with the machine
So, ultimately, your, quite thick pan of batter took 28 minutes - including the steaming, correct? Thanks.
Can you put parchment on the bottom of the cake pan?
yes
No. Not for me. I'd rather do the usual oven method. The Ninji is too small to do both pans. It is something that requires constant monitoring of the cooking process. Plus it doesn't save any real time because the layer cooked was underdone imo.
Is there an oven light?
Yes, it's that button between the power button and the start button at the bottom
Congrats on the coffee! Do you work with a local roaster? Im curious
Yes I do! they are from St Louis which is about an hour from where i live
Put in less water and let it rise before you open the door.
This doesn’t save much time. I’ve been “unsold” on this device.
It literally does. It’s more efficient in every way than an oven.
I believe he mis-calculated the baking time and that caused him to add too much water - the more water, the more time you need - it says for bake time over 15mins add 1 cup of water & for under 15mins just 1/2 (hope this helps)
