Speedi stuffed cream cheese french toaster bake. 8 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
8 oz cream cheese
10 pieces cinnamon bread
10 eggs
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 can apple pie fillings
Topping
1/2 brown sugar
1/4 cup butter cold
Grease bottom pan and line with 5 prices of bread. Next spread sugar/cream cheese mix on bread. Spoon apple pie filling over cream cheese then cover with last pieces of bread. Pour egg/milk/maple syrup mix over top and let it sit for 1/2 to hour in fridge to some in. Cover with topping crumb and put in speedi. Set to steam/bake and set timer 10-15 minutes.
Forgot mix one egg yolk and 1/2 cup sugar onto the cream cheese then spread it onto the bread.

I have no problem cleaning the coil in the Combi with rotating brushes and Dawn Power Wash or Citrus Clean.
I have both (bought Combi last week). Today, I put water in the bottom pan, added the crisper tray and cooked wings on the bottom (further from the top element) and used the combi function. It steamed and kept the wings juicy, while the element on the top made the wings crispy. Delicious.
I love my Ninja Combi. Best thing I ever bought for my kitchen. Have been using it everyday.
Me too. I gave my Speedi away and have no regrets.
When you finish cooking and there is a lot of condensation simply remove both pans, close the door push start and the 3 minute “dry” mode will appear on the panel.

Easy fix to the dry out problem is to place a foil paper first before putting your meat. It cooks the same.

I would love to see a comparison cook between the Combi and the OL series 701, 601, or 501.
How about comparing the Ninja Combi Cooker to the Ninja Foodi? They too also look very similar. It would be nice to see a comparisson. Thanks
The meat in the combi is close to heating element just as in speedi. They are same what comes down cost and needs only around $40 difference so $120 for speedi vs $169 combi. Feeding 4 vs 6
Good video, thanks. I don't have either machine, but I have many air fryers and a 15-in-1 from Ninja. Is the combi easy to clean? Does baked-on grease come off with a wipe easily? For example, a lot of my other Ninja machines have stuff that bakes on and you can never get it off. Thanks.
Can you keep the air fryer insert in the bottom pan of the Combi to put vegetables on for steaming, so they're not mixed in with the protein?

What’s wrong with having both? I got the Speedi to replace my slow cooker. I love it. It is perfect for 1-4 people. The only complaint I have is the bake part: It only goes up to 400 degrees.
I need to replace my toaster oven. If the combi goes up over 400 degrees for baking, I will also get that.
As for the meat not drying out in the Speedi, I agree with another commenter to use aluminum foil. I do that also to cook smaller portions so the bottom doesn’t cook as fast.
Also, you don’t have to mix the veggies on the bottom. You can put them on top 5 minutes before it’s done.
Can I grill steak in the Combi? What’s the max temp for that?

I know you like the Combi better but am I correct that the Speedi can steam & bake at the same time or steam & crisp at the same time but the Combi can only steam or bake or crisp one function at a time which might give the Speedi a advantage over the Combi? thank you so much as I am confused but like both very much.

My oven recently broke but I didn’t want to buy a new one until I move so I got a Ninja Combi. Now I don’t think I even need an oven😂
The combi air fryer element on the top seems quite tedious to reach for cleaning unlike in a speedi . What are your thoughts from usage ?
You're right. I own an oven style air fryer. I gave up using it because of the cleaning issues.
I wait mine to cool down and wipe it with water/vinegar mix. Cooked pretty messy meals and it cleans off nicely. Also, I purchased a rack that fits on the second shelf and I have been put a different pan on top. Got this broil type of pan where the juices drain to the bottom. This way the fan doesn’t splash the protein juices all over.
Just get the screen for it and try not to cook splatterish foods as much on air fry over the oven function which is a slower fan
It needs lower pan with divider to cook liquid food along food not cooked in liquid.
I love both, but the Combi is the one to buy. I can cook for the whole family now!
Price is the point, if speedi is close to combi price then just buy that
Combi is on sale for $179 right now and the speedi is still $200
BJs in PA had the speedi for $59 in Oct clearance price.
I love the ninja cookware do they use the same type of nonstick surface?
The nonstick surface is unbelievable, and so easy to clean. I've never even needed to place them in the dishwasher because they just wipe off with a soapy sponge. ( I have the Speedi, but the pans are the same material in both.)
I haven't heard a slow cooking option on Combi but heard about one on the Speedi. I just saw an infomercials about the Combi and didn't hear anything about slow cooker and haven't heard you mentioned it either. That was one of the reason I was considering the Speedi because my slow cooker is no longer working and needed to upgrade my Air Fryer. Even though I considered the Speedi I haven't seen anyone that said they have used the slower cooker to know if it even work satisfactory.

When it comes to cleaning what would people want, the easier Speedi or the more difficult Combi? I like the look of the Combi with its two levels, I just wish they made it far easier to clean as over time it will get incredibly grubby. Ninja, for the next model please merge the two, a door for the two levels and a lid for the heating element/fan.
I just ordered the combi from ninja for $206 that is the version with big pans. Speedi was fine just like the door and it fits in my kitchen when used . It's only money. I had problem with lid also with speedi

I been reading the manual and finding the Speedi and Combi are different animals. Speedi would steam for 20 minutes before starting crisping but Combi reads after coming to appropriate steam level starts crisping for set time. Doesn't have a default streaming fixed time like Speedi. Only Combi baking says 20 minutes steaming then starts bake fuction for set time. One definitely doesn't transfer to the other, each has a learning curve so have to rethink uses.
I see online there is a 10 in one Combi and a 14 in 1 Combi. Which one is this? I am confused with all the difference sizes on the same product.
looks like the 10 in one is sold at walmart with a few less functions. I need to get it and do a review

Now I know what I want for Christmas!! I love the Speedi, but yes, the proteins cooked so fast (on the top) and would get dried out if you didn't watch it. Also, the Speedi is not big enough for a family; more for 1-2 people. The air fryer on Speedi is the best ever however. So, I am curious how the Combi will do with that?

I bought a second crisper tray for the speedi. Any vegetable or meat on the lower tray stays out of the liquid, liquid food then crisper tray legs in holding vegetable, meat or potato then top crisper tray holding meat, potato what ever.

I use an expandable/collapsing stainless steel basket steamer the kind that fits any pan,
I am thinking of buying this but I am really concerned about how much steam comes out the top. I am worrying that I might steam some cabinets too much causing warping etc or that if I put it in another location it might steam my artwork ?
I put a small fan behind mine and it blows the steam forward. Doesn’t get to the cabinet. I also used a steam diverter before getting the fan. They both work but the fan is better because it help not get the food smell seeping into the cabinets.
Used the Combi today. Still on the fence. But you do need something to divert the heat/steam, if you don’t have about a foot of clearance.
Just wait and get the Dreo honestly.

Let do this the pros with special roasting machines… not everything should be done at home. It won’t be better - trust me.
I would say if you're cooking for 1-2 people, speedi is fine but if you are cooking for more than 2, get the combi.
The comment I was looking for haha I need a Ninja that can help me to cook for more than just for 2 people.

IMHO..your review is a little off..these two machines may cook some of the same type of meals but the cooking experience is not the same and the Ninja Speedi has more cooking options. You cannot suate in the oven, you can deep submerge meat for a suvie meal in the speedi and you can stir, mix, and create yogurt in ways that you cannot do in that oven. My point is that the different design of the two machines makes these different machines for doing vastly different things.
I really love the speedi and im not considering the Combi at all. In your opinion though, which one is better?
You can saute in the oven as well.
