Im currently suffering from this illness… I was going to the toilet for diarrhoea every hour for the first 48 hours - no joke! I had a severe temperature of 39.5 and my body was aching so much. It was just the worst!

How long did gastroentiritis last for you? I got sick because of food poisoning/bacteria i ate last Sunday night. So then then the stommach pain/diarreah and vomiting began that monday night. I felt like i was working out my abs from vomiting that much in 2 minutes. But thank GOD the vomiting and diareah stopped Tuesday night. But Thursday i had so much abdominal pain that i had to go to the hospital. Nothing came about from the testing, bloodwork, urine, even an ultrasound. All normal. They just told me that i had acid reflux left from the vomitting and the damage it did. My esophagus is still sore. Not too much but still. Last weekend i barely slept waking up in the middle of the night with the acid disrupting my sleep 🤦🏽♂️. Come this past Monday, i have had no more cramping, very minimal reflux, have been sleeping better. But just two days ago i started feeling fatgiue in my body and chills. Well ive been feeling chills since this all started last Thursday. But i felt the chills stronger this past Tuesday sorta like a cold/flu symptom. Now last night my sleep was disrupted after 3 good nights of sleep because of a congested nose and a bit of acid reflux with gas. I also felt a knot in my throat. Ugh its like a new symptom every few days. I hope this ends soon naturally
@@JohnWickIsAlive yeah you have all the symptoms, i was exactly the same , all of my symptoms have stopped bar the abdominal pain, but its alot better than it was, i also went to hospital as i thought my appendix had exploded pr something, i didnt have as much tests as you, only a urine and physical exam of the stomach which i was giving the appropriate medication, i didnt eat for 3 days and could hardly keep half a cup pf water down, but id say i was bad for at least a week, amd yeah acid reflex was also very bad, also didnt sleep for 3 days due to pain hence they gave me pain meds, hope you feel better soon

Dont let yourself bilive this " let it run its course" you must watch out of how unwell you feel compared to your normal self...my little cousin toddler have been unwell for 9 days with diarrhea and fever...he was taken 3 times to a doctor and all 3 times all they said was....is just a virus infection let it run its course.. by nigh of 9 days was worsen than admitted to the hospital and discovered that hes intestine was all very inflamed and the bacteria spread to his organs and in ICU on antibiotics, God knows how how long. Those doctors only take your seriously when you almost dead

I (age 27) had water like stool for more than 12 time a day for 2 days and 1 night (no vommit and fever).. then I walked 1 km upto hospital, found I am dehydratied completely and lost 6 kg within 3 days. Paid $15 for saline.. and was good from next day.
