- I just want to thank everyone for all their lovely comments on this video. When I posted it I NEVER imagined it would eventually become my most popular video! Both in views and comments. I'm so glad there are so many other people out there who love this pair.
And for anyone asking, the song is called "Love Is" and it is the 11th track on Ringo's solo album "Liverpool 8" which came out in early 2008. Ringo also has a brand new album called "Y Not" that came out on the 12th of January. Paul has not released a new album since his Fireman CD "Electric Arguments," though he was on tour last year and he released a copy of his New York concert. The CD/DVD combo is called "Good Evening New York City."
This video was made using clips from the movies "Help!," "A Hard Days Night," "Magical Mystery Tour," "Let it Be," "First U.S. Tour," and "Give my Regards to Broad Street." I also used clips from various news conferences, interviews, concerts, music videos, and the Beatles Anthology. I made this video using Sony Vegas Platinum 8.0.

I love Ringo! It's hard to imagine how anyone could not love him.
the part about stroking hand is from an interview where paul talks about his last days with george before George died- he said he sat with George, stroking hands, and called it one of his favorite memories- the Beatles were truly like 4 brothers- and even after the argued like brothers they still remained friends- showing just how deep their friendship goes
This brought tears to my eyes. Yes, once upon a time they fought, but so do real-live siblings, and then they make up and move on, just as Paul and Ringo have. The unabashed love they have is so clear in how long they keep holding hands and are completely at ease with doing so, cause they just genuinely love each other like brothers. They've been together so long as friends, and went through an incredible life-experience that only 4 people in the entire damn world went through, and now they're the only 2 left who know or remember what it was like. I'm so happy for them both that they have this amazing bond with each other.

For me the Beatles will always be number 1. Watching this video showing Paul and Ringo's beautiful friendship almost brought tears to my eyes. And I'm sure they wish George and John could be here with them, because, as somebody said here, you can tell they all loved each other a lot.

You cant go thru the experience of The Beatles as they did as human beings and this thing they created and not love each other like brothers for all their lives and all of their wives and ex wives are like sisters in laws by virtue of their marrying their brothers.

You're absolutely right. They're way closer than brothers. Matter of fact, I don't think there are words to describe EXACTLY how extremely close they are. They've been through sooooo much together and they still have that playful, lively feel to them. They clearly love eachother and it's pretty obvious when they interact with eachother. THEY ARE FRIENDS/SOULMATES FOR LIFE! And that goes for George and John as well. :)

Reading through all the comments was as moving as the video itself. It made me realize that I'll never, ever, be alone -I have brothers and sisters at heart, all around the world, who cried just like I did.

This is very touching. It's hard to explain the depth of feeling that The Beatles inspired to someone who did not grow up with them but the fact that their music lives on is testimony to the fact that it bridges the past with the present. That The Beatles transformed popular music is absolutely beyond question as their influence is ongoing.

As a Beatle fan, it's hard to explain the beauty and warmth this song and the video brings to me... to someone who didn't grow up in the 60's and not know much about the 4 lads from Liverpool! This has brought me to near tears as I played this. Thank you for providing this great piece of music with the perfect clips that show the love Ringo and Paul shared and still share! They all loved each other, but now it's just these 2 amazing men left, which makes this even more poignant! It made my day watching this... thank you!
