Usually with bananas going "bad", I'd toss them, but I decided a while ago to freeze them (of course peel them first) and place in the freezer. I finally decided to use some after several months in the freezer and they are really, really good, almost better than a fresh banana because of the sweetness and texture helps to have a thick smoothie! This is probably way to late, but about the dill: You can actually freeze it, just mince it all up, use whatever amount you need fresh and put the rest in a container in the freezer. It defrosts very fast, you can just spread it on a paper towel and press it dry😊

hello. I make my own mayo from aquafaba so u should try it.. It uses stuff u already have and the water from chickpeas that u would have discarded anyway. My non-vegan family love it!!!

Dried herbs have a stronger flavor actually, so for example, if your recipe calls for one teaspoon of chopped fresh herbs, you should substitute with a bit less of the dried stuff. Although the fresh ones have a more complex and intense flavour, I believe, and that is why a prefer those. I totally see your point, I to always get annoyed that markets seem to provide herbs only in unconvintly large portions that i most definitely will not use before they go bad. You can actually buy the fresh stuff, use what you need for your recipe, then wash and dry the rest and store it in the freezer. It keeps as fresh as it was when you got it and flavour stays the same. That is what I have been doing for years and I always have whatever I need on hand.
i honestly really wanna try it with tofu so it will be easier & ur pretty much just pressing the tofu & marinating it then frying it instead of making the seitan (and yes its in the desc haah)

Do you regrow your green onion? It’s really easy! Leave abt an inch from the root and stick in a glass bottle and put in the sun (inside). Grows back in like a week (or you can leave it for more like months just as long as you renew the water like once a week). Can regrow back again p decent and a third time kind of small and then i think after that they struggle but the first time regrowing is definitely worth a go. Sorry no punctuation lmao

I may be totally wrong, but are the bottle you're using for your kombucha the type that they sometimes have at restaurants to hold water? Just an FYI those bottles are often "vanity bottles" and not good to use for fermentation (they can explode under the right conditions). Not sure if that's actually the type of bottle you're using but wanted to comment just in case! (FYI I learned this from Brad's on "It's Alive" series on Bon Appetit, highly recommend watching his kombucha video!)
