Beryl Shereshewsky did a video recently where she made tofu recipes from all over the world. If you're looking for video ideas, I'd love to see you try them! They weren't all vegan, but could be veganized. There was a Vietnamese tofu dessert that looked delicious!
May sound silly to some people but I put notes on drawers like that, that say; dont forget about me! I also do this for my freezer section because I always forget about that myself and it actually helps
you could get a dry erase board or something for your fridge front where you can write what's in the drawer so you don't forget! my roommate and i do this because we're also prone to forgetting LOL
Lisa (the VietVegan) used to put all her condiments in the chiller drawer! I'd love to see an update next vid with whether your system helped you reduce food waste 😁
I like how you workshop your meals using whatever is available. I feel like I’ve been doing the same thing. Learning how to cook using what I can find at grocery outlet, and grocery outlet isn’t a place that has exactly what you need so you’ll have to make it work
I really recommend finding a protein powder that is just 100% soy powder, I hate flavoured protein powders bc of the taste of fake sweetener as well but with this I just add it into a smoothie with some maple syrup for sweetness if it needs and it’s so much better!!
Thank you for the video. Been feeling in a cooking/eating rut and your videos always make me feel like making something. 😊 I appreciate your channel and the work you put into it.
1. i wasn't really watching (2nd screen and all that) and thought you were sponsored by magic mike for a second lol!!! 2. is it possible to take out the drawer and leave the space open and visible? maybe the design won't allow it without breaking it (don't break your fridge!) but mine is just kind of hooked and i can pull it all the way and take it out for cleaning purposes.
thanks emi for all your videos!! i love them so much i always wait for them. i follow you since i became vegan (5 years ago ommmg), and you are one of my top favorite vegan youtuber! keep rocking it and i wish you all the best to you and maple always!! be safe
I have two drawers at the bottom of my fridge. In one I put my cheese, yogurt, sour cream aka “dairy” except butter. Butter goes on the door. In the second drawer I put my fake meats. Produce on bottom shelf. Store bought sauces, breads, and pita/ tortillas on second shelf. Homemade sauces and ingredient prep on top shelf. Drinks, dates, butter, and milks on door.
Okay hear me out - put your condiments in the drawer in the fridge! If you need mustard, you’ll go look for it. It’s helped me a lot. Vegetables where you can see them!
Kroger stores near me have veganaise, and also whole foods. It goes on sale at my whole foods quite a bit so i keep an eye out for it to go on sale and then stock up on a couple.
Loving the extra uploads! Also my fav way to satisfy my nacho craving is to make a cheese sauce with white beans and cashews, looks just like the queso from the can and it's soo good
Sarah loves food took the drawer out. I took mine out too. But to help me remember too look at the crisper I line it with a bright color towel so it’s the first place I look at when I go to the fridge. I too have adhd and it doesn’t match my aesthetic but I remember to use my produce and it makes it easy to clean I just pull out the towel make something with what’s left wipe it down and I can do a quick inventory.
I like using vega sport vanilla protein as its plant based and not too sweet(30 g protein, 170 calories, organic, with some vitamins). It tastes good with cinnamon! It is still tastes very much like a protein powder though.
Grocery outlet is my go-to store for groceries! I go there like every other week 😅 it’s fun to try new things that’s way 👍 it’s fun to see a creator on here who goes there often lol
you need to make your own cashew queso for nachos! its super easy, the hardest part is boiling the cashews for 30 minutes but you can prep everything else while you wait
I've made vegan crunch wraps with Primal Kitchen's No Dairy Spicy Queso dip. Would be great on some nachos with soy chorizo and beans and jalapenos...just whatever floats your boat!
Veggies NEVER live in the drawer- out of sight out of mind! I also use my drawers for bread, wraps and flour. I’ve seen people use drawers for condiments but that doesn’t work best for me. I got some cheap clear bins to corral all the fresh veg on top shelves- now they never get lost. Sometimes they don’t get used. But they are def not lost. Ha
I think we have the exact same bins. Did you get yours on Amazon?? Mine came with tops that I don’t use on the containers… But they sure do work well in my cabinets where I put cups and such on top of them.
hi, btw, if you want to make my request, that is ( to make lele soup from cartoons oko lele ) . so please make my request to the sures for your please, 🥺 ❤ 🙏🏻 ? ! ? .
Yummy 😋 food in this what beautiful Emily ate in a day video and it was amazing. Thanks 👍 for sharing this inspiring video and love 🥰 it. Love ❤ Emily.

I just leave the brewed tea in a glass jar in the fridge. It lasts quite a while and it's already cold

i'm such a stevia and smoothie hater 😩 stevia wrecks my digestive system and smoothies never leave me satiated. i love savory vegan foods!!
I legit didn't know that stevia could do that to people. Stevia is prob my favorite sweetener.
Vega makes a great stevia free protein powder!! I’ve been buying it for four years!
@@ivanamurphy6917 thanks for the rec!

i've been binge watching your videos (as i do every fall) and was so happy a new one popped up :')
Maybe try the credo queso for your nacho cheese!! Love that stuff, pretty reminiscent of the real thing imo

You can also put your Ziploc bag of frozen rice or container of frozen rice and a bowl of hot water to help with the thawing process

Target has the notco x kraft mayo thats really good! On the shelf with other sauces. I like mixing it with hot sauce.
The tea looked so good
sandwich ingredients being ones that you'll seek out is so relatable
I keep bread and cheese/meat in my crisper drawers!! it works way better for me I hope it works for you too
Veggies NEVER live in the drawer- out of sight out of mind!
I also use my drawers for bread, wraps and flour. I’ve seen people use drawers for condiments but that doesn’t work best for me.

Sometimes they don’t get used. But they are def not lost. Ha
Have you tried the TJ’s Kimbap?? I’m pretty sure it’s vegan but it’s so tasty! I feel like that would be a fun meal to try to make also :-)
WOO-HOO!!!
I think we have the exact same bins. Did you get yours on Amazon?? Mine came with tops that I don’t use on the containers… But they sure do work well in my cabinets where I put cups and such on top of them.

Do you have an Albertsons or Vons near you? They have Vegenaise for like $6
Walmart also carries veganaise in the produce section and the vegan hellmans / best foods mayo in the aisles.

silken tofu > every other tofu
365 party girl 😂😂😂😂😂
👋🏻🇨🇦
I have so many gorgeous tomatoes in my garden 🍅 🍅🍅, it makes me sad to see your sad store bought tomatoes wrapped in plastic 😢
Have you tried making your on vegan mayonnaise? It’s just a few ingredients and BAM! it can either be soy milk based or Aquafaba 🤌🏻
Cukes and tomatoes need to be outside the fridge. Also uncut avocados. Print a list of where to store stuff and hang it on the fridge. ❤❤❤❤💋💋🐶👁️💃🏼🪭
