A "low as possible" would be really nice. Or a series, like... 4 weeks. First week $40, second week $30, third week $20 and the last week $15. I would really love that, tbh. 😅
@@emberdt7998 it's not, that this wasn't, but it could be a theme for future videos. Like... I do eat for ~15-20€ a week, so I'm used to it. But I enjoy videos that are explicit budget friendly :D
ive been thinking about ways to showcase eating out & finding options in a video like maybe eating out twice a day for a week?? seems like a lot but eating out once a day for a week is what a lot of people do normally lol
@@emilylove9923 Well, since the can said it expired in 2013 and canned goods expiration dates are often a few years past when they were manufactured, those cans could have very well been from 2009-2010. Maybe still ok to eat, but definitely freaky.
Now THIS is what I call inspirational content... I need to do a pantry clean out so bad, in my house we could probably survive for 3 months on all those cans of beans we got on sale, half-empty bags of pasta and baking ingredients I never use :D
@@stitchedfantasy4137 thank you! I already Lost quite a bit of weight and now that I figured out healthy portion sizes for my body etc, I can finally fully concentrate on changing the basics of my diet :)
What if you did like raw vegan for a week. It’d be interesting to really see all that you can actually eat as a raw vegan. Also Emily you’re relationship with food inspires me to be less hard on myself and know that eating a vegan brownie doesn’t mean I’ll gain weight. I love your personality and I just wanna say thanks 🙏
If you eat enough of a percentage of protein, carbs and fats then it would be ok to eat raw vegan. It’s just if you only eat super high fruit (carbs) and really low fat and protein that you’re going to have health problems. I follow Healthy Crazy Cool on youtube who is a Registered Nutritionist and has made mention that raw veganism can be done right.
something about you planning how to use everything in the cans is so satisfying and therapeutic. It's the same feeling as when i clean my house on the sims, only to have a mess in real life
You could also make peach cobbler, blend the peaches for peach syrup on pancakes, peach pancakes, peaches on coconut yogurt, peach smoothies, all the peaches 🤤🤤🤤
i honestly don’t do much but i just have a small compost bin so that my veggie/fruit scraps go to the green waste bin rather than the trash. the only tip i have is using wood chips, dry rice or beans or other dry foods ur not gonna use bc stale, etc. for filler in order to lessen the mold/moisture!
bruh I'm addicted to all your what I eat in a week videos like I haven't done anything with my life these past couple days but watch them, we want more.
Since you asked for suggestions for themes: I'd love to see a video like "what I eat in a week on a really tight budget". I'm not really familiar with prices in the US as I don't live there so I don't know what a doable but low budget would be, but maybe you could set yourself a weekly budget of like 25$ or something and try to work with that. I myself have a tight budget and I love to find inspiration and seeing how other people deal with it :)
I like the no-theme versions! It makes me feel better about the weird meals I come up with It feels like it's what you'd be eating if you weren't filming yourself, whereas when it's a theme it's a bit more curated.
I recently came across your channel and you’ve inspired me so much. I’ve not only been eating better, but I’ve also been more cautious about what I eat. I love how you show your viewers that living a vegan lifestyle can be very realistic and it’s inspired me to eventually transition to veganism💚
Here's a week a meals I'd love to see! - I have a bladder condition called IC, change of diet helps reduce pain. No acidic foods i.e. tomatoes, citrus, tropical fruits, coffee, chocolate, spicy or sour anything, processed foods...and so on. It's quite a challenge and a diet restriction most havent heard of, would love to see your take on it!
Hi! As of Yesterday I’ve been vegan for a year and wanted to say ty for being so cool and entertaining to watch! I’ve watched your vids all year and have loved getting recipe ideas or just having a laugh at your content:)))))
🎶 everybody knows that when push comes to shove, nothing feels better than feeling the loooove 🎶 Love that you were singing Cory's band's song from That's So Raven 😂
Great video! Because of social distancing/self quarantine because of covid-19 I'm trying to use up all the stuff in my pantry. It is a good excuse to use it all up before it goes bad. Love to see more of this!
I love these because it gives me so many ideas of food I can actually make. I always find myself just making pasta or white rice with salsa but now I can make my OWN salsa OR chili !
To be honest this in itself could be a theme. "Using up all of the food I have leftover edition", some people including myself may need some inspiration on what to do with things that need to be used up .
Violife smoked mozzarella slices are amazing on sandwiches. I love the chickpea red pepper sandwich slices from lightlife and veganaise for the perfect sandwich
i would love to see a week of only food from aldi! i recently started shopping there because of how cheap it is, but i'm having trouble making vegan friendly meals out of the things i find there. we have the same style of ~throwing shit together and hoping it tastes good~ and i know you would make things that i'd actually make myself. much love :)
Glamourgirlanna maybe I should clarify that I mean simple carbs. Majority of people eat too many unhealthy simple carbs, which in excess can lead to obesity. I eat low (simple) carb, but still eat plenty of complex carbs (I hate the whole keto fad, because I’m aware that carbs are necessary for brain function).
I love the clean out the fridge specials! That's what this process is called at my house. Creative cooking juices always begin to flow! I would like to see a week of soy-free eating. I'm allergic to soy and it is quite inconvenient.
I try to stick to plant based type of eating, and my boyfriend lovessss meat, so I find adding field roast to chili is such a crowd pleaser if I’m going to make something friendly for most all diet needs!
These are the most realistic what I eat in a day videos I’ve ever seen. I feel like I’m constantly trying to clean out my fridge or pantry just to keep things from going bad so I usually do Frankenstein meals and just throw everything in a pot LOL
When Exam season about to cause u to go run & hide in the Alaskan wilderness, but then Emily Ewing gives u faith in humanity again with the GOOD content :')
I really like the “what I eat in a week but it’s just random stuff from around my house@ videos because they have funny titles also I like the what I eat in a week vids regardless. You could pull a Binging w Babish and do only foods from tv shows/movies, try only foods from a certain culture/country, foods of a certain color, Walmart vegan foods, dollar store vegan foods,
The theme of your videos is always unfathomable levels of coolness.
forever angels i read this as unfathomable levels of coochiness lmaoooo
Dollar store vegan week please!!
Jane A dollar tree has some pretty yummy veggie meatballs!
Yes!!
Jane A that would be a cool challenge
Dollar tree has pretty good vegan veggie samosas
I'd love to see a zero waste/low waste what you eat in a week vid!
leaf yessss! And a “how to save the earth” video :))
Do an on a budget week, idk how much the budget should be but affordable.
A "low as possible" would be really nice. Or a series, like... 4 weeks. First week $40, second week $30, third week $20 and the last week $15. I would really love that, tbh. 😅
This right here was pretty cheap. Like the food in this video for a weeks worth of eating wouldn't even be over $20-$30
@@emberdt7998 it's not, that this wasn't, but it could be a theme for future videos. Like... I do eat for ~15-20€ a week, so I'm used to it. But I enjoy videos that are explicit budget friendly :D
You don't need a theme because your given theme is always vegan, which is enough!!! I LOVE your videos!!
"Cleaning out your pantry" is a theme and i like that theme. Look forward to the other themes too.
can you do like a day but go to different restaurants that aren't vegan but you can showcase their vegan options
ive been thinking about ways to showcase eating out & finding options in a video like maybe eating out twice a day for a week?? seems like a lot but eating out once a day for a week is what a lot of people do normally lol
OMG "you can eat stuff that's been in a can 40 yrs...it just might not taste that good...." Emily, you are special. Your channel is everything.
I love that she said this right after she threw out some cans from 2013 😂😂

you should do a week of eating according to the rainbow!! (ex: monday: red, tuesday: orange, etc)

just so u know i actually like regular old what i eat in a days :) but themes r good too love u xoxo
Hi Em, you mentioned composting, maybe you could make a vid talking about that. I've been wanting to do it for a while but i'm not sure how to start.
i honestly don’t do much but i just have a small compost bin so that my veggie/fruit scraps go to the green waste bin rather than the trash. the only tip i have is using wood chips, dry rice or beans or other dry foods ur not gonna use bc stale, etc. for filler in order to lessen the mold/moisture!

you should do like a "week of meals on $50" or some specific, affordable number, it'd probably have to be meal prep? u kno wat i mean
I actually love pantry clean out videos and getting ideas of what to make with random ingredients.
i just wanted to tell you that these are my favorite videos to watch, i’ve watched all your what i eat in a week videos at least 10 times each.
I recently came across your channel and you’ve inspired me so much.
I’ve not only been eating better, but I’ve also been more cautious about what I eat. I love how you show your viewers that living a vegan lifestyle can be very realistic and it’s inspired me to eventually transition to veganism💚
I actually loves this theme cause food waste is a huge issue and u are encouraging people to actually eat the food they have 😊✨
