Another excellent battlereport as usual. However, I must say that taking a fighter with a servo claw and not giving him "One Punch" legendary name is a missed opportunity :D Glad to see so much love for "Nerves of Steel" skill, one of the best skills in the game along with Leap-Up
@@MiniatureGameMontage Give it to the shotgun savant as you use it as a substitute attack, its really good on a high WS fighter with no melee weapons. You don't need bullet lord as shotgun savant allows you to re-roll the number of hits with your shotgun. (I think.)
Great game, proper nail biter! Enforcers with Fast Shot and template weapons are proper scary, but good to see the gutsy Orlocks winning out through some true grit (and a little luck!).
Holy crow, those blast templates did a number on the Orlocks in this battle report. All in all, this was an insane battle report and I enjoyed every moment of it. An absolute treasure of a game!
Quality batrep as always. Back and forth is an understatement! I really thought the enforcers had it in the bag but that bottle roll changed everything
I really thought the Orlocks were at a massive disadvantage against all the dakka the Enforcers had with only a plasma gun to contest them with, but when Forge went MC Hammer sans parachute pants on those two patrolmen, really turned it around. Also very impressed by the double Arms Master, the +2 to bottle checks even if one is taken out really helped them. Poor Tito though, he got thrown around like a ragdoll! But it doesn't look good for Logan, running at the first sign of trouble! I think the Rustbelt Rangers are in for a repentance detail.
Thanks, Thing! Always appreciate your comments. It was a swingy game. I thought I had it but Iron is hard to break! I think these Orlock guys are going to shine when we get more into the hive setting. They did pass a very good test here with a more open battlefield. Cheers!
i played orlock vs my buddy's enforcers two days ago.. Arms master smashed a patrolman, leader was on a gang relic and failed a 4+ cool check after the 5 up bottle test. Turn one leader bottle X.X It did not go well for my mate.
@@MiniatureGameMontage Frank's perfect 😂 even called my arms master Frank (always getting a bit emotional when rolling the injury die 😂). Great battle report again, really enjoyed that one!
The house of Iron! So good, I mean all the Underhive gangs are great but there's something great about blue collar workers in space! Would be great to see some wreakers and maybe a doggo too! Get an infra-sight for talos, it'll pay for itself in one game with fast shot. Great game, can't wait for the next one!
Yeah I totally forgot the infra-sight! That’s incoming. I have some dogs painted up for Orlock so we’ll check those out too. I tend to gravitate towards them even though I wanted to beat them this game!
wow, what a game! I was a bit sad about the clumping up making the orlock vulnerable to the myriad enforcer template weapons, but the dice decided it was all ok. Next time I'll bet your son avoids giving you so many chances at 2 fighters in one shot, even if technically he didn't learn his lesson this time. :)

Through turn 4, was a frustrating watch for the Orlocks, souch blast template and getting bounced off walls. Enforcers with fast shot. The one campaign I've played, had several matches against the Enforcer player using that on his leader with a Bolter and using the tactic that let him fire it a third time. Hated that so much, especially when he would miss and his stray shots somehow managed to kill two people vs the one he'd initially shot at.
The Orlock ganger with the arc hammer....isn't that a two handed weapon? Are you able to use a sidearm if you have a two handed weapon? Maybe he has some skill or ability I missed but I thought you could only use the two hander and nothing else.
@MiniatureGameMontage I've watched all of your other necromunda videos, I love them and have pushed the local community, so I went from one other player to having 9 now and I'm getting ready to run the dominion, but need to show them how and they've asked for the videos.
@MiniatureGameMontage I'll work up a video of how the teams are set up this weekend hopefully, after a tournament in December I'll have time to focus on getting it done
do u put the pic of the gangers in manually on the yaktribe cards or is there an option in yaktribe i didnt check out yet? would be awesome cause some of our gangers are hard to identify without name plates.
Hey bud. The pics can be uploaded on Yaktribe. You can create an album, load your pics, then when you create a fighter you can upload an image from your album for them. I need to get some name plates...but the names are always changing :D
@@MiniatureGameMontage thats why i dont use name plates, the orlocks alone where 5 different gangs now after 5 years of playing with different people.
