The Lions fell to a home defeat on Non League Day as Ilkeston Town took the points back to Derbyshire.
Jameel Ible hauled his side level after Gabriel Johnson's penalty miss but after a host of spurned chances the Lions lost the match.
Tom Cursons struck a goal in each half to earn his side a win.
