I worked with an Audi Salesman of 12 years and I told him "All Audis but one dissapear forever, what one remains?" His answer, "Easy, the SQ5 obviously. It does everything"
So awesome to see the factory. Recently bought a AWE Touring exhaust for my 2014 S4. Gotta say, I look for reasons to drive under overpasses now :) Thanks AWE for the awesome work and thanks Eli for all the time you put into the channel!
Oh snap, I live in horsham and I thought I saw your SQ5 the other day...but I figured you wouldn’t be down here. I didn’t even consider that you’d be visiting awe
Great series! Love what you're doing. Been looking for a successor to my B7 A4 Avant (goes to the kid in a year). No S4 Avant or supercharged All Road option led me to your S4 videos. Watching what you do w/ this SQ4 very closely. No long-hood compromise!!
Nice that you were able to get one because mine has been on back order since Thanksgiving. I gave up waiting and I'm going with the AMS Performance heat exchanger.
I have their exhaust on my S4. Looking forward to getting one for my wife’s ‘19 SQ5 in a couple of years. Hopefully by then they have exhaust tips as well. Not a fan of the fake tips
Is there any utility in getting downpipes only on the stock exhaust for the SQ5? I quite like how it sounds + the option of closing the valves is nice. Will JUST adding AWE downpipes increase the stock sound? Will it affect HP/torque (with no current other upgrades)? Thanks!
To limit heat soak. Aka keep the engine from pulling timing which reduces power. When you change pullies and tunes to make more power... It makes more heat. This fights against it.
@@toddn.3123 ... hmm ok , not got that problem, My SQ5 Plus+ is the Twin Turbo- TDI version, could go larger intercooler, if you want even more power from the Standard 700nm / 516Lbft Torque.
@@Patsy-rd7kj being diesel you run alot cooler to start, then your turbos are spinning less revolutions. You could do an intercooler but you would have to be alot more modified with huge turbo's before you get a benefit.
there's probably enough room to have stacked heat exchangers in the sq5. I didn't remove the old one and stacked them in my audi a6 c7 with a merc racing heat exchanger.
Thats AWEsome (ha get it?) you got to hang out there! The coolant splashing on the camera lens made me cringe a little since that stuff can get surprisingly nasty.

I like AWE and the products they put out but I have to say that I’m surprised they can stay competitive in this market given the turn around time on their orders. I know they don’t mass produce their stuff and that adds to the time but I’d bet they’d control a larger portion of the market if they could shorten that time.
Hey if they have the data (from their dyno etc) why don't they post it on their ads (or vids like this at the very least). It would definitely help us (me) compare it against the other options out there. SUBBED

Nice, I also have a ‘14 S4. Do u live near the awe factory? I live over near their old shop in willow grove
Another bad a$$ video man! That was awesome of them to let you come out and tour. Lucky!!
Front mount HX looks amazing. Now we need a spirited driving video to hear that AWE exhaust.
You should do a MMI upgrade install
SQ5 is really coming along! Love the progress!
“Ok cool, I can stay?”
“Well, you can get a shirt”
😂😂

Lucky bastard❗ lol
I need to go to awe❗❗❗
that just looks awesome man good video 👍🏼
Tom V not sure if you can just walk in but they’re cool guys for sure!!
looks so good in there! i have an AWE Exhaust on my GTI
All mod companies should do this for youtubers that use and promote their products. See if you can get to IE headquarters.
Stanley Suber I have an open invite to IE, just need to find the time!!
@@IgnitionTube Can't wait 👍
Very nice, but I think I would have sprayed it black.
does AWE do a stealth version of the front cover in black or maybe you get to paint it yourself so it doesn’t show through the grill at the front.
Air and Water Enterprises...had no idea till now.
I need to stop by there on my way through to MA. Maybe I can get them to install an exhaust on my B8 😂

How did you find a RS4 Grille with no license plate mounting holes?

it isnt a"trans cooler", this should be an additional heat exchanger, like in s4 b8
