My wife just picked one of these up last Fall ('17 SQ5), I find myself stealing it often! I'll get her talked into the pulley/tune/intake/exhaust before too long!
Moto Crane my mom has one it's a fun thing to drive, would definitely need a bit of modifications but it's a solid car

She thinks about it in too much of a German manner, the power and exhaust is "adequate" in her words. But adequate means reliability, and who wants that!?

There are quite a few crossovers and SUV's that can be track cars. I turned my Outback 3.6R into a canyon car/track car. I have a few videos about it on my channel, including a review, and I plan on doing another review since I've beefed up the suspension a lot recently. Awesome video! I have the same car, same color. I have so far added 034 motorsports engine transmission street mounts, KW adjustable coil-overs, 034 strut mounts, and an Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake with carbon fiber cover. I am going to add an intercooler next before going with 034 Stage 1 ECU and 034 Stage 2 TCU tune. Also 034 or ECS billet drivetrain inserts. I love my car and may do Sway bars down the road among other upgrades. Such a fun all around=d car to own and drive! I love it!! Favorite car!!
Buddy of mine has a 16 SQ5 and wants to do the 034 motorsports upgrades. Pulley, tune, suspension etc. Still maintains reliability fairly well? Definitely noticable improvement over stock?

My wife has 2017 SQ5 and its a blast to drive. I got a 2018 B9 S4 recently and that's way funner to drive 😁😁😁😁. Both are great cars.

David Messick how's the tranny like the dual pulley? I have epl stage 2 on my sq5. I had dual pulley on my 6mt s4 and the stock clutch didn't like it.
Mike Thompson ...just to be clear, this is my 3rd Audi (B7,B8 A4’s) now a Q5 and my 1st EPL tune. I absolutely love it...super torque all through the power band witch is huge.

How close is the 2016 q5 3.0t supercharged s line to this engine wise? I want the this one but its way out of my price range but can get a normal q5.
My friend has an '06 A4 with the 2.0T, and the same with the whole not feeling like you're going fast applies. I'll look down and i'm doing 20 over the speed limit and i'm like oh my god.
Funny how we (south Africa) get a 3.0 TDI SQ5 and you guys get the 3.0 s/c...although the diesel has a ton of torque this sounds awesome

My chick just got the 2018 sq5 up from her 2017 s3. Pretty nice car if I don't say so myself. Nothing like my c63 haha but still very nice and the new upgraded v6 turbo is really going to tune nicely. So much more potential the. The sq5 that was a v6 supercharged like this one

I can so relatd to this! My uncle has a Q3 and I have a mk1 miata and you feel like youre going really slow in the Q3 where as I feel like I go quite fast in my miata

Al Denino yea whats wrong with that bro ? We've owned an A6 and didnt have any major problems with it except for minor stuff such as sunroof mechanism , other than that the car performed just fine for 4 years and in my opinion thats a reliable car 👍🏻
Abdelhameed Barqawi same, had an A4 Quattro, way outlasted 2 of my Acuras. Most reliable car I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot of cars lol.

I went to a track day sponsored by our local Porche Club of America chapter and somebody brought a Macan that was surprisingly doing really well.
I picked up my Macan GTS at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. I drove one of their Macan GTSs on the course with an instructor and yes, they are quite capable. I was surprised and happy. I'll have mine at VIR in Sept for a few laps.

SUV's are just to heavy to be an effective track weapon. sure, you can track it and have fun with it, and it does look cool, but after all the suspension upgrades and engine tuning, dont get mad when a 1.8 NA laps quicker.
M3NACE Also depends on the driver. I have seen 1.6 na miatas overtaking cars with far more power

It's a single vehicle answer. You get to track and daily a comfortable large vehicle versus a stripped 1.8 NA.
I don't think anybody buying a qs5 is trying to break records. A awd 450hp sleek suv is amazing for anybody with a fam. 450 being duel pulley tune and other minor mods.
