Nice to see a SQ5 review that captures the intoxicating sound this car makes. I've test driven two of them and will be selling my WRX STi to get into one of these soon!
Just got done running numbers on it tonight, told them I would let them know in the morning but after the fun twisty test drive we got to take it on, I was sold! This color stands out from the pack, jaw dropping beauty!
In Europe we get the 3.0 TDI Biturbo with 313 bhp and 650 nm of torque. I have never driven the petrol version but i think the diesel engine fits the car a lot better. 0-62 mph in 5.1 seconds and topspeed 155 mph limited and you got better gas mileage. Okay maybe it was a bit laggy and it didn't seem as sharp as the V6 supercharged petrol but diesel is awesome for daily driving.
We don't get 3.0 TDI Biturbo because some idiots decided that it won't sell well here. Actuary, there is no 3.0 TDI Biturbo engine anywhere in North America, none!
PorscheSweden What's the point of high requirement? I don't understand. The pickup trucks here don't even need to do the emission test. That's just LOL
I own a 2014 Audi Q5 TDI with an APR re-flash. It's supposed to put out 300 hp. and 500 tq. now. I was playing with an SQ5 one day and was running pretty well even with him. So I feel I have the performance and probably 40% or more better fuel mileage. Best of both worlds.
APR is a software that reprogram your car's computer to get more horse power and torque. A stage 3 Sq5 with downpipes, intake and AWE exhaust will have around 500 HP and 410 torque.
hello friend. I do not know his name. I enjoyed the videos. I am Brazilian and it is not difficult to understand his accent. congratulations and a hug from Brazil.
Heres a question, is there any performance SUV's under 30k with awd that beat this car? I can't find any. Maybe a 2012 Jeep GC SRT8 but they have reliability issues. Thoughts?
Thanks for the review! Hey, since you're into these kind of "wolf in a sheep's clothing" type of machinery, how about making a review about some of the powerful turbo-and bi-turbocharged diesel sedans that are becoming more and more popular here in Europe. I know diesel engined road cars are not a thing in the U.S but the amount of torque and shere grunt they put out is amazing especially in normal everyday driving. For an example my lady has a VW Golf Station Wagon and it has a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel. Funny thing is, that almost nobody knows that diesel-powered family wagon goes 228km/h top speed because that little powerhouse puts out 400nM of torque at 1500rpm through a 6-speed DSG transmission. Most recent past sport cars can't keep up when it's time to floor it at highway speeds :D
would be awesome if you guys could compare this to a ford edge sport. same class of vehicle, similar power plant. and edge is much cheaper. The styling of the edge is surprisingly slick and not far from audi which, in my opinion, needs to really do something more special since the more economical options these days are so similar to luxury brands such that the audis/bmw's etc. cannot anymore justify the premium you pay
+devastaticon I drove the 2016 Edge 2-weeks ago, it's a great vehicle and the Sport trim has all the bells & whistles. But then I found a 2015 SQ5 last week and it's head and shoulders above the Edge, although a lot more expensive.
Same reason why some American cars call their engines "Hemi" by altering the shape of their cylinder heads even though they aren't TRUE hemispherical engines.

I feel like with a lot of the car reviews on this channel are paid so the dude can say positive and only positive feedback , I use to like this channel but now they just kiss ass to the money and stopped talking what they really think about the cars due to that now they just do it to get paid by the dealerships to do a review on their cars
Paddles are becoming increasingly common now-a-days. The reason that they're sporty is because it gives you the same feel of up/down shifting that you get from the vehicle that paddles came from - the Aventador.
It's just a novelty. People like the feel of shifting with wheel-mounted paddles. On cars that are more sports oriented, they're quicker, easier ways to shift.

The camera work keeps getting better and better! Keep it up!
The grind payed off bro

Very attractive vehicle. I especially love the panoramic roof. Gives the interior a more "open" feel.

***** We also get the SQ5 plus TDI which ive driven alot. 340 hp and 700 nm of torque (516 ib/ft). It's a beast.
PorscheSweden Maybe because it cannot pass the emission test. FFFF the American government!
***** That's correct. They have way higher requirements for NO emissions
PorscheSweden What's the point of high requirement? I don't understand. The pickup trucks here don't even need to do the emission test. That's just LOL
Good video Parker 👍 Actually bought the 2015 SQ5 a few weeks ago. Love it ! Your review helped validate my choice !
How is it 1 year later?

Good point, but you should compare APR vs APR right? SQ5 with APR has 450+ HP and 400 Torque.
What does Apr mean?
APR is a software that reprogram your car's computer to get more horse power and torque. A stage 3 Sq5 with downpipes, intake and AWE exhaust will have around 500 HP and 410 torque.
Love the intro, keep it up. Looks very professional.
If you like the Macan but can't justify the price after adding options, the SQ5 is a great alternative that comes loaded for much less.
The Macan is more like the Q3 though. My neighbour just bought a Macan and its almost no bigger/taller/wider than my A6.
The review is spot-on!
hello friend. I do not know his name. I enjoyed the videos. I am Brazilian and it is not difficult to understand his accent. congratulations and a hug from Brazil.
Nice review, thanks for the video.
A review of the Acura RLX Sport Hybrid would be awesome! Rare car.
Being concerned about gas mileage in this class of carry seems silly to me. If you can afford the car you can easily afford the fuel for it.
Could you try and do a review on the regular Q5? Preferably the 3.2!

I'd like to see a Review on the new Lexux GS-F.. if possible!
I know it's an old one but please review BMW e34 M5 (3.6 or 3.8l doesn't matter)
Nice Videos. Thumbs up!
I'd like the convertible Ferrari F12 reviewed. That's a great car

+devastaticon Audi is in the starting phases of updating their styling the new TT, R8, Q7, and A4 are all examples of this new design language

So why is there a V6T badge if it is supercharged? Is it a cintrifical supercharger?
Its just Audi's way of nomenclature, which sometimes can be weird........
Cause it's something along the lines of them calling a belt driven turbo
Same reason why some American cars call their engines "Hemi" by altering the shape of their cylinder heads even though they aren't TRUE hemispherical engines.
In europe we have a 3.0 TDI engine with 313hp for the SQ5
"[[) =>:!=#[ @>):!
Can you please review a Mercedes Gls 63 AMG
No. Not "literally endless" head room.
Do a review in an e90 m3
me too!
What to pick... An Audi Q5 or a Volvo XC60?
a Porsche Macan S....
wish there was such a budget for that....
deusxmedia Volvo. We had one. Happy with it as well. If you higher your budget abit you can choose the T6 engine and the Heico "bodykit"

i was honestly thinking of the Heico kit and some other parts as well! maybe the 2012-2014 sparks the most interest.. which model year did you have?
everyone is entitled to their opinion
👌🏽👌🏽
Diesel version is better. Can't beat Bi-Turbo

I have one
2017 Camaro 2SS
What about it?
Dacia Sandero
Mannn what happened to ya 😂
My mom's Subaru legacy has paddles. That's not a sports car. it's a 4 cyllender

Manuel Neuer What is the purpose of them anyway?
It's just a novelty. People like the feel of shifting with wheel-mounted paddles. On cars that are more sports oriented, they're quicker, easier ways to shift.
Manuel Neuer I mean the option is there but I can never figure out an appropriate time to put the car into paddle mode.
I do it when I'm travelling down a steep hill. Pop it into manual mode, and use the paddles to downshift and hold my speed while I go downhill
Not shit vs. the x5 m sport
The Q5 and X5 aren't even in the same segment. The X5 competes with the Q7.
Completely different vehicles, bud. This is Audi's first attempt in making a sport-driven SUV. BMW's M crossovers have been around for a while.
